I am Nnamdi Kanu, the direct son of Chukwu Okike Bambiala, you can never jail me, you don't have anything against me. Hahaha

All those who have believed Kanu in the past should now start having a rethink as he Kanu lied and over bragged about everything.

The life imprisonment sentencing was even after fair consideration.

Hope others are learning from this

Those who tipped Kanu about the army invasion are the same people who gave him out to FG when he made a trip to Kenya

Those same people are the one insisting Kanu shouldn't be released even though their justification was about their own political career

@OP.

Did you doubt it would happen? If you did then it means you don't know the history of Nigeria's most megalomaniac ethnic group who brag and make noise, as if above all else yet, get humbled by the law and reality in the end again and again.

Did Ojukwu, the posturing megalomaniac, not beg Nigeria in the end and even contest to be her President after his Biafra lunacy that cost millions of death?

Kanu too will beg in the end. Mark it down.

These people are the adult toddlers of Nigeria with how emotions, megalomania, inordinate sense of entitlement, paranoia and persecution complex prevents them from reaching wise and responsible adulthood as most normal human beings achieve.

They can never join hands humbly, tolerantly and progressively with others to evolve society. They must always seek domination of others that then translates into disruptiveness against their nation and all other Nigerians once they are not allowed to dominate everything and everyone as they feel is their God-ordained right to achieve.

Bro, I knew Kanu was only running is mouth. Buhari left nose and ears is also part of the lies being told by Kanu deliberately.

This thread is for those who swallowed almost everything he said. They initially claimed Kanu can never be arrested not to talk of being convicted

This Kanu issue is why I felt that those who criticized BAT for the types of crimes included in the presidential pardon were being short-sighted. If they had remained silent about the initial list, Kanu might have had a chance of receiving a presidential pardon. But now, it will be almost impossible for any president to grant him one without appearing to apply double standards. We shouldn’t be reactive; we need to be forward-looking and proactive.

Bururai was the COAS when Kanu's house was invaded, the same Burutai his supporters praised for attacking Wike.

Both Kanu and his supporters don't have future foresight about whatever they are doing

Yes I know. I was just supporting what you are saying in a satirical way. They are an irritating people. Some of us where in the UK same time as Kanu.

We built professional lives and successes. He engaged in fraud, dropped out of Uni and failed.

Yet it is the same flawed and failed character with evidence confirming lack of leadership talent that Igbos, one of the biggest ethnic group in Africa with at least 30 million members, chose to follow and obey blindly.

An unelected menace told them to sit at home every Monday in the SE for ages and they complied. He formed a militia, full of criminals and killers, to subjugate Igbo land and they accepted.

Yet they have the nerve to be lamenting and pretending to be victim today.

Currently, after this sentencing of Kanu, they are looking for everything and everyone to blame for their own self-inflicted folly, as if this current state of affairs was not inevitable and predictable as the retaliation to Igbo coup, defeat of Igbos in the civil war and eventual jailing of Ekpa and Kanu.

They will still eff up majorly again. That is what always happen when folks have disruptive, covetous, irresponsible and unsettled spirits.

Kanu acted frustrated lately because he realized late that almost everyone around him have been lying to him.

The Trump invitation was about distracting, delaying judgement as that's one of the things Kanu got to know late.

His conviction at least for now is to keep him safe as some people from South East don't want him out

Lol. What is Awolowo's legacy today other than a glowing and commendable reputation as one of Africa's most positively transformational leaders ever who changed millions of lives positively?

What will be the legacy of Kanu? What is the legacy of Kaduna Nzeogwu, Ironsi, Ojukwu, Azikiwe and the many covetous megalomaniacs, hate preachers and fraudulent usurper you lot have paraded as leaders from time immemorial?

Life imprisonment is a slap on the wrist. Kanu should have been given the 50 years sentence. That will have been more appropriate.

The bolded is 100% correct. Especially per the cowardly, greedy, callous and irresponsible leaders of the SE who have the electoral mandate of the people yet allowed Kanu and his band of illiterate cultists to dominate and subjugate Igbo land by usurping their official authority.

Those Igbo political leaders live in mortal fear of Kanu and the disrespectful killer mob he commands they know can execute even the best and most respected from Igbo land same way they wasted Dr. Chike Akunyili.

The culture of lack of respect for elders they casually brag about is now hunting them with how teenagers with guns are executing 70 year old professors with impunity. Thanks to Kanu's warped lunacy he made the reality of millions of people and a significant region of Nigeria.

Regardless of what they say, leaders of the SE are the happiest today because Nigeria has done what they did not have the balls or conviction to do. I.e tame Kanu's madness and unacceptable excesses.

People should go and read the news to note several IPOB leaders are now targeted for trial and takedown. Megalomaniac will talk and brag. Determined PBAT, when he is ready, will act and define space.

Awolowo's actions or statements didn't cause insecurity for his people. Same can't be said about Ojukwu or Kanu.

Count the scores yourself. The cause is becoming a curse

You really described them aptly. Though their physical growth is normal, mentally they stopped growing at age 3.

If there is one thing anyone must learn, BE CAREFUL OF YOUR ONLINE UTTERANCES.

Nnamdi Kanu was shouting "burn it down", "kill them", "supporter of APC", "zoo" during EndSARS.

Lekki Toll gate was burnt.

Some police stations like Orile Police station, were raided, burnt and criminals were set free.

Forensic laboratory in Lagos was burnt.

Media establishments were burnt.

BRT was burnt.

Lagos smelt of smoke, burning flesh and death.

Although the judge said Nnamdi Kanu would not be blamed in totality for the post-EndSARS crisis, it was quite telling for me that he was the sole voice calling for destruction.

Ndigbo, remember EndSARS. Remember how the north stayed away from it. Please when you are invited for destructive protests, stay away. Remember Omoyele Sowore's Endbadgovernance protests that turned to arson and flying Russian flags. You did well by staying away; otherwise, the riots would have been pinned on you.

If anyone calls for protest for Kanu's conviction, stay away from it.

Nnamdi Kanu was granted several opportunities to defend himself and he was engaged in drama. Do not allow anyone to set you up to be scapegoats.

It makes no sense to me when they call the country a “zoo” without realizing they’re indirectly calling themselves animals. Like, can’t you think?

Excellent observation. They are always driven by emotions, sentiments and hatred for others that badly compromise the commonsense, capacity for critical thinking and logical reasoning every normal adults should possess.

If Buhari is alive today and criticising Tinubu, he would be their new champion never mind that the current destruction of the SE, led by Kanu, was the result of their personal, toxic and maniacal hatred of same Buhari.

Same as how El Rufai is their hero today because him and his family has turned against Tinubu. Same El Rufai who mocked their God Obi a "Nollywood actor" and ethnic bigot.

Go and sit down. You have no credibility and never make sense here. I can say a prayer to Awolowo every year, to commemorate his passing, for his transformational leadership that ensured my fate was not illiteracy due to the free education he ensured my forebears enjoyed I then benefited from.

My family is succesful and international today , via escaping generational poverty, because of Awolowo. I can thank Awolowo as directly responsible for changing my life, and that of millions of others, for the better. May he continue to rest in peace.

What can you praise about your band of failed, selfish and misguided Igbo leaders from Azikiwe,Nzeogwu, Ojukuwu, Ironsi, Abaribe, Peter Obi and the deranged megalomaniac Kanu?

Ironically, this Kanu situation again shows the huge difference between Yorubas and Igbos. Our greatest and most acclaimed heroes are achievers and transformational leaders who delivered positive changes that improved the lives and fortunes of many.

Whereas you lot celebrate and cannonize those who unite you to hate, resent and fight others they present as your enemies and the cause of all your woes.

Your greatest are those who exploit your propensity for hatred of outsiders and the need to blame them for whatever you feel you deserve that they prevent you from gaining

Azikiwe, Ojukwu, Nzeogwu, Charles Onyeama, Ironsi, Abaribe, Ekpa, Kanu, Peter Obi etal.

Is it a coincidence your heroes, you have supported most passionately throughout the history of Nigeria, are all vile, megalomaniac and divisive characters while the Igbos who preach tolerance, respect for others and patriotic Union with fellow Nigerians you label "Efulefu"?

Whatever. You are famous here for shameless attempt at skewing the narrative. Kanu destroyed lives and has set the SE back at least 50 years.

Awolowo transformed millions of lives for the better and is directly responsible for making the SW the leading region of Nigeria it is today alongside the SS.

Trying to blur that indisputable fact, by fraudulently citing imprisonment to indicate Kanu and Awolowo are even remotely similar or comparable, just shows what you people are and why you will always be self-destructive menaces to yourselves.

You are comparing a failed London yahoo boy and drop-out to Awolowo?

The next hate preacher, to lead Igbos into self-destructive wahala, is already waiting in the wings.

That much is predictable about you lot because it is today una don dey 'display' to then blame others when the sh1t hits the fan.

Pride goeth before disgrace of life imprisonment. Even BBC reported that the South-East sighed with relief.

The revelation with incontrovertible facts beyond reasonable doubt that prove his terrorism crime led to wanton death of innocent people and destruction of properties, mostly suffered by his own Igbo people, was particularly too sobering for the South-East yesterday. It's like #metoo movement again as many yesterday were jolted back to reality of remembering the loss of their loved ones and properties to his terrorist attacks.

The macabre dance of shame on the graves of his victims has ended.

It is clearly evident that the hand of God is on Nigeria for blessing us with such a God-fearing Judge like Justice James Omotosho. He was above board.
