Kanu was not fearless. His desperation to avoid judgment when it became clear he was facing jail time was apparent to any keen observer. He was just plain stupid and actually a wicked and dangerous fellow. He believed that being in the UK, he was immune to prosecution and could do anything against Nigeria and get away with it. While Biafra advocacy and propaganda was one thing, it was another when it graduated to encouraging arson, killings and destruction during the End Sars protest and enforcing sit at home in the East. Not less than 500 to 1000 Nigerians lost their lives to the actions of Kanu.

It's great to see videos of former male and female members of ipob such as Uche Mefor (who was in charge of setting up the social media platforms used by that criminal group), and one insidious UK-based woman (her surname is Ogala) who called for the murder of innocent Ibos who did resisted ipob in Eastern Nigeria (I FIRST saw her in a 2022 BBC Global Disinformation Team investigative video report) bluntly regretting and renouncing in videos their membership of that criminal enterprise called ipob.
