A former president was sentenced to death judge last month and the count was she was guilty of crime against humanity for the death of young protesters during her reign. I think it's Bangladesh, I read it on BBC last month.

Sentence of life imprisonment is similar to death penalty. Some offenses deserving of death penalty are alternated with life imprisonment sometimes.

The situation surrounding Nnamdi Kanu is very complex.

There are deeper issues!

In this same Nigeria, there are historical grievances from the Southeast. There are root causes of these agitations. There is economic neglect, Southeast have suffered a lot of scars.

Nnamdi Kanu is not the problem. Free him and try to address these root causes so we find a resolution because this country belongs to all of us.
