What you're currently seeing is actually 60k seats capacity. We're restricted to use 45k of it for now till safety assurances are met to allow the use of the remaining section.

You can clearly see what will host the third tier at the top of the stadium and notice it taking shape. The third tier will have the remaining 45k capacity to make the stadium round out 105k total capacity.

This is just money earned from the stadium and associated hospitality (hotels & museum) alone. Not shirts sales or sponsorship revenue.

Which means Barca will be swimming in premium money from 2028. 😎

In comparison, before Barca started renovations, we were getting close to €100mn per season on the Camp Nou. And that time we dey get revenue of almost €1bn per season. Come imagine what our revenue will be when we're making almost 3 times the revenue on the same stadium (and this is the minimum projection).

That's why I dey laugh when some peeps dey say we still in massive debt due to the loan we obtained for the construction. The project already pays for itself.

Na EPL clubs I dey pity that period when it comes, cos na there we go too farm players. I wan remind them how they used to call us Brokelona some years back. Barca will be swimming in too much money by 2030 e go be like oil money thanks to the completion of the Espai Barca project.

Could be an ideal short-term replacement for the aging Lewandowski. His interest from Barcelona is currently gathering momentum and with his contract expiring next season, Bayern could be forced to sell him this season to us.

I like him and I think he is going to be a very good fit for the club.

You're right sha. Every club should be thinking long term and Kane is 33 years old so obviously he'll be short term fix. However, long-term is becoming a myth in modern football. Coaches are staying maximum 2-3 seasons, players are suffering injuries here and there. For example, when Fati was coming up, there are fans who thought the LWF position was secured for the next 10 years. When Umtiti was hot; arguably top 3 defender that year, people thought defense was secured for the next years to come. But he lasted just 2 seasons at his absolute peak.

When we bought Fofana(CB) and Lavia(DM) we thought we've secured or defensive end but injuries exist.

On Kane, I think even at 65m, he'll be an absolute steal for Barca. He guarantees 2 world class years of productivity plus English fans. He's also an absolute professional meaning, the youngsters can watch and learn from him. Considering Barca will be returning to camp nou full time by 2028 or so, he'll keep Barca competitive until they're able to spend REAL money in summer 2028.

Let's be honest, 65m cannot even get you players like Seiko, Ekitike, Woltmade, Osimehn. You can't see a quality 9 that guarantees 2 years of absolute productivity in this market unless you get your scouting absolutely spot on.

I think It'll be a great deal for Barca. As such, my conclusion is that Bayern will be foolish to allow him leave. My feeling is that he'll be convinced to stay at Bayern or return to the EPL to break Alan Shearer's record.

Long term still exist though but short term success is equally important. It's how you stay competitive while suffering financially in order to avoid going the way of Ac Milan.

Feels like a fresh start for Barcelona and the team today. With lots of players returning from injury and also playing our first match in the Spotify Camp Nou, it feels that we're going to open a new era.

I think Barca may drop points if they take the occasion too seriously and not take it as a normal game. Lewy must not be the one to open the scoring, it must not be Lamine. Anybody can score should be the message to all the players.

Y'all remember that the actual capacity presently is 60k..... But the stadium is being opened for use in batches and waiting for when it's safe to use the full capacity and get approvals from Barcelona city council.

Hopefully by January-February we should be at 60k.
Hoping this is the beginning of good tidings for the club.

We might even get permission for 60k before the end of the year sef. We need that mulla!!

Why should we keep on signing old strikers even with their quality and you are correct on Kane not having elite fitness like lewandowski. Yep, pretty expensive..... I am hearing some serious empty seats earlier this afternoon. I wanted to confirm from JPMoriarti if it's true.

Unless the info is few days old or hours old..... I'd be surprised to see any single empty space in the stadium due to the fact that this return is highly anticipated by fans..... So there's massive demand already. Maybe subsequent games might have empty spaces due to the price but this first game it shouldn't matter, because we have a large fan base. Heck, the old capacity is 99k, so even if half the population get turned off by the price hike the other half should be willing despite the price.
