1. Doctors are on Strike
2. ASUU are in strike
3. Schools being suspended in different parts of the country due to insecurity
4. Proliferation of Tribalism and Anyhowness in government institutions
5. Increase cost of house rent in virtually every part of Nigeria
6. Debt rising
7. Kidnappings and terrorism
8. Christian Genocide
9. Increase in the cost of goods and services
10. Poor electricity
12. Poor ratings of Nigeria on international indexes
13. Collapse of our sporting institutions

I believe the government could truly benefit from organizing new, independent committees comprising fresh faces who are not old political allies or individuals owed favors. These committees would need to be made up of vetted experts, technocrats, and expert from each troubled sector (security, education, economy, health) with a clear mandate to conduct a forensic audit of the problems and provide actionable, home grown solutions. This would bypass the recycled advice and bureaucratic inertia, injecting new perspectives and accountability to tackle issues like the strikes, insecurity, and economic collapse systematically and one after the other, because the current trajectory is simply not sustainable for the nation.
