The old woman with the knife is a solid 7.5 for me.
Another good storytelling movie, started slowly but ended up a masterpiece, a thriller and a movie where the past will always come calling no matter how we try to escape from it.
Loved the plot and twist of this movie, something i didn't see coming after all.
The gore, the blood, the action, nothing was left untouched and though it has a bit of a sad twist to it but it is what it is.

You kill by the sword, you did by the sword.

When people say personal lives of these stars don't really affect their professional lives, una go dey talk say na lie, it's why it's best to keep it super private. She's had 5 back to back flops this year, I saw this movie at TIFF and it was really good especially when you look at the themes, it's what a lot of people especially women can relate to and you can tell she put her entire mind, body and soul into it but turns out the "no publicity is bad publicity" don't apply to her or Jared Leto

Memories of Murder - what a hopeless movie. As a viewer I don't even know what I gained by watching this movie. I wasn't rewarded in anyway.
A 2hr slow burn with no pay off whatsoever.

Omo this one left me scarred for real.

Brilliant movie. One of those films that will really vex you so much and break you at the same time. Korean police and their laws dey be like say dem incompetent.

Na after I don calm down reason am na im I understand wetin the filmmaker dey pass across.

Easily the best movie for me from Bong Joon Ho's filmography. Edges out Parasite slightly for the gripping take.

You no go enjoy The Chaser be that..... Similar trope. You go vex wella too but it has a payoff.... If you can call it that. Still left me pissed..... Maybe even more than Memories of Murder because some people chose to be really stupid at the end.
