Hello guys, I just arrived USA today and I am having serious malaria.
It showed up suddenly .
Please how do I treat it here. All the pharmacies I visited said they don't sell malaria drugs.
I need your help urgently please.

Go to a hospital and not pharmacy...

They should run a test for you then prescribe medication for you!

Call ur folks....
Make Dem buy and ship you antimalarial drugs and antibiotics join.....u know how e dey go naaa na typhoid and malaria dey collabo...

...DHL is 24hrs.... Last courier I paid for was 120k for 0.35kg......
courier policy says prescription must follow....so let your folks go to a standard pharmacy....they know what to do...

Or u can go to the hospital shaa ...but malaria is on a notifiable level disease so Dem fit call center for disease control, start to dey check your luggage & pocket Incase few mosquitoes don follow you ..

He's in a more civilized country but asking asking how to treat malaria....u think he doesnt know there are hospitals in the United state where pple get medicare...??

If he doesn't have insurance u'll be shocked at the cost of treating ordinary malaria

when travelling you are supposed to travel with anti malaria and typhoid drugs. Go to the hospital , they have tropical diseases department.your medical bill go huge sha pele

In view of questions asked and some not too bright people quoting me about the efficacy of neem oil and clove.

Medical error is one of the most dangerous incidents in the US killing millions and many people cash out yearly for it.

You can get anti malaria by prescription
Go to the emergency room
Save your life

Pls don't scare the OP or anyone that falls ill while travelling with a purported high bill, eventhough the fellow is Just on a visit, no bill will be incurred, that ist the essence of a travel insurrance which is a basic requirement for getting a Visa.

A basic travel insurrance covers all cost of treatment in case of illness.

A basic travel insurrance covers all cost of treatment in case of illness.

Many many and many dont pay for travel insurance.

go to hospital emergency room and say you think you have a tropical disease Malaria, they will sort you out. Fee or no fee your health and your life is most important.

Are you from Nigeria? Look for neem leave powder, boil and and take as tea if you can overcome the bitter taste. Just two tea spoonfuls morning and evening.

If not, Come collect Antimalaria, else you will be QUARANTINED on arrival at the clinic.
As Malaria normal for Africa, it's considered a plague in the U.S ooo

Go to the emergency dept, you can be treated, just be expecting a 5k bill.
Next time, always bring some malaria and other meds with you from Nigeria. That's what I do all the time.

Go to hospital, you will be given a bed and placed on quarantine. Pele oOoOO

Just shout I AM A CHOSEN 5 times... And you will be fine.

You can take lots of "quinine" containing drinks in the interim, but a hospital is your best bet.
Let them know your travel history as well.

Should be able to order hydroxi-choloroquin, I think it's called. If not, just to go a hospital and be ready to pay an arm and a leg.

Get fresh lemon, squeeze the juice. Then make a cup of tea (tea bag) add the lemon juice and drink while hot. Morning, noon and evening. You'll sweat! Drink for 2 -3 days. 4 lemons to 1 cup. No sugar

Go to the Hospital emergency room, but which pharmacy in the US will even sell you drugs without prescription so this your story is questionable.

Come home first, let's run a lab test to be sure it's malaria

Next time get few doses of malaria medication when ever you are leaving Nigeria. Most countries with malaria free status don't have malaria medication or treatment. They do not want to record any malaria incident which will activate a national emergency in their country.
