Bro, you give social media too much credit. Many of the likes belong to guys who are patently prejudiced and misogynistic (women haters) and have not even been in a long term relation let alone married with kids.

They believe women should be treated as property to pleasure men when that is now no longer possible decades after women's liberation became a natural part of human existence.

I am 100% sure most of the likes the poster you addressed received are from adults that are kids, in terms of life experience, who fantasize their best life is having loads of diffrent women in a house to service as they please. Teenage fantasy sort of thing.

Men aren't passing through hell in marriages because they are in monogamous relatioships. Most men in marriages they are unhappy in is because dynamics has changed.

Women today are not their mothers. They don't compromise when problem arise or feel the need the need to sacrifice to maintain the union or stay for the sake of the children.

Women now prioritise their happiness and are more demanding. Meaning they will walk away if unhappy in a marriage while past generations stayed and made sacrifices for family

Polygamy is way worse. Most children brought up in it don't repeat it when older and seeking partners except if in strict Islamic nations. I am Yoruba. Christian by birth. I have seen the future choices of many adults raised in polygamous home from countless examples to include those in my own direct family. Majority reject it because it was not a good experience for them. Fact.

I have loads of Moslem Yoruba friends my age who have shunned polygamy, despite their religion allowing it, talk less of our Yoruba Moslem elders like Tinubu, Fashola etal and literally thousands others who have wealth, status and prominence yet reject polygamy.

Imagine when religion allows it yet most modern, exposed, wealthy and well-educated Yoruba Moslems still reject polygamy. What is that telling you?

Ask even the guy who made the comment, that you are taking seriously, if he is married, has opinionated kids (male and female) above 14 and his answer will be no.

Does he even have a teenage daughter, as some of us do, he can ask if she'd be interested in going into a polygamous home? Yet he is speaking as if he is experienced and has a tale to tell.

He is just fantasising about what he believes he wants without the experience that teaches a man what works best in life 100%.

Same way communism died, so too will polygamy. Only a question of time and that is why polygamy is still popular in mainly Africa and Asia that other continents have evolved beyond.

What is the 'method' of their 'research'? how valid and reliable are the tools? How fair are the conclusions? And by whom was the research done? Who funded it? As it turns out, in case you do not know, all research results agree with the person/group that funded it. And many of auch 'research', are funded by left-keaning psycopaths with an agenda!

Nobody who grew up in monogamy wishes he were born in polygamy because of the propaganda, misinformation, miseducation and misconception there is against it!

No, when anybody who grew up in dysfunctional home tells you that, they are not making a case for dysfunctionality. But when anyone who grew up in a polygamous home tells you it contributed o why they are the well balanced individual, they are ACTUALLY MAKING A CASE FOR POLYGAMY because in it, there is support from not just one person, but from a host of others. So, even if you bypass the doctrinal shackles of religion and/or modern borrowed societal values of today, how many young men of today can economically sustain a Polygamous union?!!

Even at the turn of the 18th - 20th centuries, it was becoming even more undesirable for struggling and financially disadvantaged men, of which the numbers of such are astronomical today.

So, it's okay to listen to overfed criminals like Ned and even agree with his stand on the "benefits" of Polygamy, but the reality remains... Is it actionable or even sustainably feasible in today's harsh times?!!
