It’s honestly shocking that some Nigerians still believe the USA is plotting to invade our country and cart away our resources. People forget that not every battle is fought with guns and soldiers . Some are fought with words, influence, and global perception. A single comment from the U.S. President can shake investor confidence and scare off those who are interested in putting their money into Nigeria.

Beyond that, Nigeria benefits heavily from financial aid, humanitarian assistance, and international partnerships. If those supports were suddenly withdrawn, the impact would be devastating , lives would be at risk, businesses would crumble, and countless jobs would vanish.

Well that has been their excuse since the time of GEJ for not selling weapons. If they dont trust Nigeria military to use the weapon, is it American soldiers who have no familiarity with the area that will do a better job. Remember, the french and the Americans had bases in Niger republic till last year yet ISIS terrorists are still there. So american boots will solve nothing. Also remember the russians are currently in the Sahel yet the jigadists are almost taking over Mali.

No foreign saviour will help your solve this terrorist problem. Only home grown solution will fix it.

If there are fears of saboteurs within the army, FG can still solve this problem if the will is there, set up a presidential special forces that include DSS, NIA, Army, Airforce supervised / reports directly to the presidency.
