We’ve seen this play out too many times. Once politicians suddenly become “activists” or brand themselves as the “voice of the oppressed” or “voice of truth,” it’s rarely about the people. It’s about their own narrow interests. The fuel subsidy protests driven by the opposition and the Bring Back Our Girls campaign are still clear in our minds. Who truly gained from those movements? Certainly not the masses. It was the politicians who leveraged the public’s emotions to win sympathy, position themselves favourably, and eventually seize power.

And what has that power delivered? More poverty, more insecurity, and deeper oppression.

Amaechi should not attempt to use the same format in 2025 because e don cast.

This is the foolish man who built railway everywhere except his own state. PH to Aba is only 80 kilometers but this good for nothing man couldn't even convince Buhari to do it but was happy to start the Niger republic Maradi rail.

You are afraid to speak and you think you're in power and scared of loosing your power.

But what is power when you cant speak your mind?

Because of Nigeria's skewed and lopsided political structure created by Northern military dictators who sewed sates and political representation and consequent electoral advantages, like seeds in the old Northern region but disadvantaged the two old southern regions with fewer number of states and political representation with consequent electoral disadvantages.

In a country formed by different regions, new federating units like states and local government areas are not created with land mass or population as yardstick.

There should have been more states and Representatives Constituencies in the TWO southern regions than in the old Northern region.

Why southerners are slaves to the north in Nigeria? See the comment above about Nigeria 🇳🇬 's evil political structure of 36 states with 19 states in old Northern region but only 17 states in the old 2 southern regions.
If southern politicians speak too loud against the evil political structure, they get filtered out of Nigeria's political process either through rigged election or through the judiciary.

There's no rule of law, otherwise terrorists & gunmen will not be operating freely & government either giving excuses for failing to apprehend them or negotiating with them from a point of weakness. A high court has sentenced MNK & he's appealing the judgement. Less wait for the outcome at the Appeal Court. Which judge has sentenced a terrorist that's bombed & killed several people including the UN building in Abuja to life sentence before?
