Casilas was declining yet still started 2014 world cup. International football is hierarchical. Unless Simon suffers injuries or EXTREMELY BAD form, he starts 100% and will do so in the next 4-6 years. @28, he's pretty young for a GK.

Amongst all the people that have been linked to Barca, Harry Kane looks like the most probable. He's somewhat old I know but he's the only one who promises and guarantees instant performance we can afford. 33yrs old and that's hoping he doesn't deteriorate physically for at least 2 yrs.
If we can get two good seasons off him, it releases the pressure on us, he's a big name too, helps us keep our money for a mega star by 2028.
