Flangelo12:Like the one SW judge could not read script given to him.He could not pronounce English words together. How was he able to get to such level. My kinds in secondary school could do better. I was so shocked and surprised. He could not even quote bible verse well.It was clear it was never him that wrote that judgment |

gidgiddy:You are a very terrible liar. 1. The judge wanted the world to see his final ruling and judgment . This is allowed. Banning live streaming when the case was going on could be subjected to different interpretations. 2. Kanu requested for more time to file his written address to the court which the judge rightly saw as another delay tactic to postpone judgement of the case. When Omotosho refused Kanu's plea for more time, kanu flared up and started insulting the judge who ordered him out of court. Note that Justice Omotosho also convicted kanu for contempt of court, which wasn't part of the charges. 3. These were all testimonies and evidence provided by the Prosecution witnesses in the form of DSS agents who took the stand and provided these testimony to the court. 4. Omotosho never threw out any evidence but rather halted the prosecution from tendering it because the defense claimed they were yet to receive and review the evidence . Justice Omotosho ordered the Prosecution to provide a copy of all evidence to the defense and slated another day by which the evidence were tables before the court. As per Gulak, the DSS relied on the confession of ESN members arrested for murdering Gulak and they confessed that they were following orders indirectly from Kanu through their commanders. 5. Kanu's broadcast led to deaths of security officers as he used his illegal station to issue orders to his ESN terrorists which they followed. Incitement is not the right word here. Radio Biafra became the Communication and command centre for Kanu to communicate and give orders directly to his foot soldiers. |

DomPerignon:Let it be known to the world that a Yoruba judge unjustly sentenced Nnamdi Kanu not based on evidence but bigotry and hatred using government power. We will never forget and we will surely return the favor. 1. Broadcasting a final judgment is not the issue. The concern is that the judge banned live coverage throughout the proceedings, which limited transparency in a politically sensitive case. Saying it “could be subjected to different interpretations” doesn’t change the fact that the restriction reduced public visibility. Courts are supposed to lean toward openness in cases of major public interest to avoid these exact controversies. 2. Requesting additional time to file a written address is not a delay tactic. It’s a normal part of legal practice, especially in complex cases involving multiple charges and large volumes of evidence. The judge alredy assuming bad faith is itself questionable...how did he know it was a delay tactics? Even if Kanu reacted poorly, that doesn’t retroactively make the request illegitimate...Omotosho denied Nnamdi Kanu his right. t The contempt ruling..something not part of the original charges only reinforces the argument that emotions ran high in the courtroom and Omotosho was not neutral!, not necessarily that Kanu was being intentionally obstructive. 3. Prosecution testimony from DSS agents is not the same as neutral, independently verified evidence. Security agencies are interested parties in this case and their statements must be corroborated. The fact that they “provided testimony” doesn’t automatically make those claims reliable or sufficient to establish guilt!. Many cases fall apart because prosecution testimony lacks supporting evidence. 4. If evidence was halted because the defense had not received it, that means the prosecution failed in its obligation to disclose materials ahead of time. That’s a procedural fault on the prosecution, not the defense! And regarding the Gulak case, “confessions” from detainees especially without independent verification are widely legally recognized as unreliable....a detained person will do anything to please the authorities for their. Statements allegedly linking ESN members to Kanu remain allegations, not proof. A confession is not conclusive unless supported by other objective evidence, which was never produced!..this elementary in law....! 5. The claim that Radio Biafra served as a “command centre” is an allegation that was never proven with direct evidence. Saying his broadcasts led to deaths assumes causation without demonstrating it. Incitement requires a clear, direct connection between a statement and a specific criminal action. The prosecution did not show recordings where Kanu explicitly ordered specific killings, nor did they present verifiable communications tying him to those acts. Without that, the argument remains speculative. The constitutional requires direct, demonstrable linkage, not assumptions, not confessions from third parties and not interpretations of rhetoric. None of the points you listed successfully establish that link. So we all know it was hatred that drove Yoruba people to convict Nnamdi Kanu and not law! |

Flangelo12:They had no right to try him in Nigeria...its against international laws ... why wasn't Simon ekpa extradited?? Cos he committed the " crime" in Finland and not Nigeria, even if it was against Nigeria ...it happened in Finland...just like Ekweremadu committed his offence against a Nigerian in UK...that's why he was tried in the UK and jailed ... Nigeria had no jurisdiction in the trial against Kanu... cos said offence happened in UK...u al really don't know law as mazi rightly said |

The law is not blind it saw all KANU wrong doings in a big screen. Mind you, they asked your Lord KANU to open defense for his case rather he choose to abuse the hell out of the judge 👨⚖️ Remember that he will only appeal base on the defense he put forward (which he never did) so no fresh fact will be admitted |

gidgiddy:Apart from being a terrorism enabler like Sheik Gunmi, you have also proven yourself to be a purveyor of falsehood, lies and propaganda. With this your legal sagacity, it is a wonder you have not taken over the defence of Nnamdi Kanu's appeal process from the charge and bail clowns Ejimakor and Maxwell and then you can point out all your observations to the court of appeal Justices'. I really pity the future for Nnamdi Kanu because in his megalomania and messianic complex he has surrounded himself with yes men and dunderheads he can dictate to,while they feed him with the falsehood that is music to his ears. James Omotosho is the fourth (4th) Justice to handle this case after Kanu in his usual uncouth manner has accused all of them of bias and corruption. The funny thing is that at least two of those Justice's he accused of corruption are now elevated and are now presiding in the Appellate court. The joke is on Kanu and his IPOB supporters. Kanu has 90 days to appeal and the days have already started counting. Gidgiddy, is free to open gazillions of propaganda threads on Nairaland.com everyday to make himself happy in his own head while Nnamdi Kanu is in the Correctional facility in the heat of the dusty, humid and scorching hot Sokoto desert. Who feels it knows it! |

Goosethetruth:6 senior directors from the Ministry of Defence were kidnapped along the Kogi axis. A senior military officer, a Brigadier General, was brutally executed. 64 civilians, including women and children, were abducted in Zamfara. 25 schoolgirls were abducted in Kebbi and their Vice Principal was killed. 38 Church worshippers abducted in Kwara. 30 schoolchildren and 12 teachers were abducted from a Catholic school in Niger State. Terrorists Gunned Down 5 Police Officers in Darazo LGA, Bauchi State All this happend in the last 10 days but the only time this one remembers insecurity is if it is connected to the South-East. |

gidgiddy:Once again the difference between me and you is that I do not tolerate terrorism or terrorists in any form or shape, either in Northern or Southern Nigeria. I abhor all terrorists and in my book ,the only good terrorist is a dead one, planted 6 feet under. I totally support the government to eliminate all forms of terrorist activity in the Nigerian federation. You on the other hand are an enabler of terrorism like Sheik Gunmi. You consistently engage in WHAT-ABOUT-ISM which is a fallacious form of argument by which you excuse terrorism on your side in the East by pointing at terrorism committed by other criminals in the North. Justifying criminality by your tribesmen by pointing at criminality by other tribes. It is a base and banal form of logic favoured by dunderheads and has been applied by Kanu and his wild bunch of supporters constantly. In conclusion gidgiddy, you are free to make yourself happy by opening millions of thread celebrating gangsterism and enabling terrorism on Nairaland.com but it doesn't change the fact that Nnamdi Kanu remains in the sweltering and scorching heat of a Sokoto correctional facility. He who feels it knows it! |
