Well, no sane muslim leader in the country had mentioned that Nigeria would become an islamic state.
Most of the criminals creating havoc in the country are doing so based on tbeir interests.

Yorubas are 40 percent Muslim and a large percentage of that are nominal Muslims, their heart is not really with Islam and it's so even in the north.
