Apart from ipob miscreants, those other people calling for his release are not saying he is entirely innocent, although he can't be linked directly to any killing. They are only concerned about peace returning to SE and that his sentencing will disrupt the relative peace. Some of us prefer he will be released under very strict conditions.

Peter Obi (S A W) did not fault the court decisions but faulted the court character of subjective and bias judgement. He faulted the way in which muzlim terrrorist go about doing the worst, receiving the best payback, while others do less, but receive much harder judgment.

Mainly by security agencies.
If you had any business that will take you to FMC Owerri during the height of the crises, all you will see are stacks of dead bodies with bullet wounds in different parts of their bodies. According to morgue workers, these body were dropped off by the security agents. All of them young boys.

As I said before he is not in anyway innocent, neither can he be objectively linked to those killings and destructions you listed. There was no evidence of direct communication with ikonso, there was no evidence of payment, same for the girls. I was in Lagos during the endsars and I can say anywhere, with or without kanu uttering any word, what happened could have still happened. The stupid fellow just had to insert himself there.
