There has been clamor for this for long but unlike his predecessors, Asiwaju Tinubu provided alternatives to protecting these important Nigerians.

The police officers are clearly underutilized as bodyguards. NSDC will need to recruit more as it is taking up more assignments from mining marshals now to VIP security.

spot on on i always made the case yet nothing is done, the three agencies you mention should be fused under police.

we operate one of the most expensive democracy in the world, too many irregularities in this country

Police will always find their way because the only thing they know how to do is to make money, either by force or by tricks. Instead of doing their job by protecting the citizens, they are busy chasing yahoo boys for money and collecting money from motorist and still collect money for arrest and from the suspect. Any which way, police have made it business of the day in collecting money from the people rather than protecting the people. Rubbish
