Don't overpraise, please. Herdsmen are in Cross River State. They've always been here. This move is simply to avoid them striking us from behind then running back into the forest bordering Bakassi and Cameroon. The government is trying to reduce their numbers in the land so we can deal with them if they attack (which I suspect they will).

Forget them saying they want to cross to Cameroon. That's a lie. The truth is that they want to consolidate with their people in remote places of the state. Those within the state as we speak are still roaming freely.

This is exactly what I was expecting the Tinubu government to do since Trump's statement. Ban open grazing, restrict movement of motorcycles at certain period in the North, create a dedicated line (just like 911) where citizens can call-in and report any creepy movement/activities. Atleast to show that he is being proactive.
