Is there anything I can do to increase my browsing speed, everyday from 5pm-9pm (sometimes more longer than this), this is the speed I get. I did SIM swap of my Airtel ODU number to physical sim and put it in X25 5G ROUTER. The ODU is a no for me because once light goes off, the router becomes useless.

that is the problem most ppl are facing with the odu.. U should get itel 60,000mah power bank and the cord .. and U will start enjoying your odu,

I think it’s a congestion issue. Most people are home in the evenings so definitely more load. My theory anyway.

Call customer service and ask them to refund you so you can subscribe on the router SIM or ask them to transfer the subscription from the alternate SIM to the router SIM.

It should be easy since both SIMs are linked.

Yea, peak period and off-peak... But it shouldn't be as low as less than 1mbs as it often is.

use a VPN. Sometimes my cricfy app that use to watch ball sometimes buffer but once I have my VPN on, it works

You are very correct. I was getting 60mbps on mtn yesterday normal data, yet I couldn't stream premier league match at decent quality without it buffering. Tried another app and it was streaming well on HD resolution but no English commentary. Frustration wan kill me.

Thankfully nepa brought light and I switched to DSTV

Why buy it then The ODU is designed to receive a stronger and more stable 5g signal compared to the standard indoor router.

I’d advice you to go and return the ODU to Airtel or buy a bigger power bank for your ODU.

If you have a steady power supply, go for ZTE. It draws more power than ZLT.
But ZLT has a better IDU which is negligible because of the capped speed.

Who has tried this glo unlimited plan, is it truly unlimited or capped??!

Lol , dem never serious, spoke with their customer care on x and they sent me this, dem never ready be that, will stick with airtel for now

Considering most people will be on the 50mbps plan.....Both is good. I live in a purely 4g environment with average ok network. I have done several test between them, put both in the same location and connect them to the same LTE bands and frequency.
What I noticed is that the ZLT connect to Airtel power LTE band 7 better than the ZTE. And it's easier to lock a good cell on it than the ZTE. It also has better speed. But for gaming I think the ZTE is mildly better. Both is still average for mobile gaming but perfect for streaming. I put a regular sim in both, connect both to the same bands for fairness, did speedtest. This is what I got
The ZLT consistently achieve better download and upload speed than the ZTE. If you live in a poor network environment, go for the ZLT. If you want to go purely by specs, go with ZTE

Thanks for this analysis so you're on the 100mbps plan right i think i will go for the ZLT it comes with esim but i heard that i can also use physical sim

The current ZLT with white IDU doesn't have Esim support, just physical sim.

Well, it is the pro version. I have encountered problems with X25 that are not present in X25 pro. While I have not explored X17M yet, I believe the pro version would be better.

In the future when we would probably have reasons to explore these ODUs, the pro version will be handy.
