IMO STATE BEWARE

Intel Alert for Imo State: An imminent attack is impending around Nekede as may Fulani herdsmen have been instructed to strike inside that town. The order implies that Nekede will be overrun and taken over very soon. Timeframe is 1-2 weeks, they have been receiving supplies and ammo consistently for the last week. They have also been bringing in their fellow members from other regions. Many people in town have been seeing them on bikes but they’re not fully aware of their plans. Be prepared!

Ekweremadu's case is a bitter one but we must learn to read the signs and avoid some things.

The case was politically motivated but unfortunately, he fell into the trap.

The UK government are not ready to release him soon.
How was his case politically motivated?

Did he not commit the crime?

They should have told UK he is coming to Sokoto Correctional facility.

Happily, UK would have released him grin grin

If the UK transfers Ekweremadu to Nigeria today, Tinubu will pardon him tomorrow and he will go home the same day.

The Brits understand Nigérian politicians so well. That's why our politicians' request was declined.

I am happy the UK rejected it.

It should put some fear and sanity in the behaviour
of our politicians.
I won't be surprised if Tinubu knew it was a failed mission from the get go.

Had the nodding been successful, he would have a few Igbo votes in the bag.

It would also be a sup to the Igbos after the life sentence pronounced on Nnamdi Kanu, the violence loving secessionist.

He might be worried the sentence may work against him in 2027. He would still win without Igbo votes.

Tinubu is a man who doesn't take chances.

You gorrit.
Buhari government facilitated Ekweremadu's conviction as payback for Ekweremadu and Saraki's role in hoodwinking then President Buhari from handpicking who would preside over the Senate then.

Even Saraki was framed by Buhari police for armed robbery. A Senate President in armed robbery? Ridiculous.

Ekweremadu the scape goat became the first to be convicted by the UK's amended Anti-slavery law.

Laughing at the statement "politically motivated". Motivated by who? And who set trap for him in UK?
The trafficked boy saw better opportunity in UK and grabbed when God sent good white samarithans to be able to observe that something wasn't right and asked the boy the right questions cheesy.
Ekweremadu acts caught up with him. He could have gotten away with it only if he believed in the competence of Nigeria health sector and stayed to do it here

The UK should be ashamed of itself for not deporting a former senator that was convicted for organ trafficking.

Is that not modern slavery? Why are they so hellbent on keeping that guy in the UK?
You're supposed to be the one to be ashamed of yourself for supporting an organ trafficker!

Tinubu want Ekuremadu to be deported, give him cell next to Kanu to exhibit the level of their crime

Nigerian government do not think things through, keep disgracing us. The man committed the crime in the UK, hence he should be punished there. It's a pity this government keep focusing on the wrong things.

You said this only because it wasn't successful. Human beings!!

Had the nodding been successful, he would have a few Igbo votes in the bag.
But in your first paragraph, you hinted that he knew it wouldn't succeed.
I wonder what he stands to gain if he knew that it wouldn't succeed but still tried.
BTW: your votes in the SE wasn't part of the votes that made him the president in 2023. I don't think your votes for him in 2027 is the one that will make him win again, most especially now that all opposition parties are in disarray.

It would also be a sup to the Igbos after the life sentence pronounced on Nnamdi Kanu, the violence loving secessionist.

Having read most of the comments on the first page, all I can say is that we don't deserve to lube in the same country with some human beings with terrible reasoning and sense of judgement.

One said "it was politically motivated... He fell into the trap"
Another said "the UK government is hellbent and they are doing too much." Seems you forgot what the Nigerian government did to the Binance guy.

By the way, it is a shame and an embarrassment for a former Senator to find himself in such a crime, it's more shameful to see the FG agitating to have him back to Nigeria - (so they can negotiate with him and give him an appointment in office again). The Former Senator is lucky to have attempted to do the organ trafficking & hijacking in UK. If it were some other countries, it would have been worse than this
