May God be with them in this trying period and provide for them babies of their dreams. It is a bad experience to pass through such stress without a good result but it’s not the end of the world.

IVF is not cheap. Thank God for life. God give those who want a baby and responsible enough to have a baby their loved ones.

Or they can save for another trial. They can also continue to trust God. In all, they shouldn't allow any situation to trouble them, not even childlessness.

LMFAO did they give them a guarantee? People go through multiple IVF circles before it works through, they should go check their health and diet to improve their parameters. We just burnt $25,000 on our first round and trust me it hurts but it is part of the process...

Many IVF centers in Nigeria are fraudulent.
The so-called IVF doctor leave the whole IVF process in the hands of their lab guys. Some of the lab guys are not that competent.
How can you be running an IVF center with only one trained MD?
And if it fails, they tell couples to try again. And the least IVF costs very exorbitant.
Please do not mock any trying couples. They need all the emotional support they can.

That's very sad to hear. As much as IVF success rates have improved over the years, there are times results don't go as expected. Some IVF clinics do give discounts to returning couples especially after failed IVF.

This issue popped up in my head yesterday. I have a question to ask though. Is the success rate here the same with what is obtainable abroad?
My good friend who has been TTC for years and has gone through a lot of process with no luck traveled to the UK with the wife and boom! They had triplets! Though I can't say for sure if they did IVF here in Nigeria, but at some point they just relaxed.

There is no IVF centre that will intentionally want their treatments to fail because they know that having a high percentage of positive results will get them more referrals from happy and satisfied clients

Its important to optimistic for me I will ask that we have an agreement for refund of a certain amount incase of a failure before we start

The doctor didn't investigate properly the underlying infertility issues before implanting.

One major issue that might or actually leads to IVF failures is ENDOMETRITIS.

Once there is chronic inflammation of the uterine lining, mostly due to undetected infection or inflammatory mediators (diet mostly), implantation will never happen except by Miracle.

Sadly, a lot of Nigerian specialists don't bother to check for this and aggressively treat... Or maybe they don't have the equipment to do so.

Or quick five minutes on top of that woman that comes from the village (because of big fresh laps) to beg for money, and belle go enter, at least another hand in the farm.

A friend went through IVF for 8 years. Several failed attempts.
Millions gone.
Last months they had triplets via same Ivf

Even the Adoption process is not easy.
A Neighbor of mine registered for adoption since September last year, up till now she hasn't gotten a call from the Ministry of Gender Affairs.
She is now searching for another place that is affordable and Legal.

Why would a woman give birth to a baby and not breastfeed the child for a single day? I mean nothing like breastfeeding.

They usually tell them its a 50/50 chance and fund is no refundable...

It happened to my friend, he spent all his saving trying it in Abuja and everything didn't materialised...

What happened to adoption?. There are millions of hungry, uneducated and unloved children in Nigeria waiting for a home. Just imagine what this wasted money could do for even just one or two children.

Stop massaging your egos and open your hearts to loving a child you did not give birth to.
