You want to ban what has happened for the last 300 years overnight, just sitting in Abuja ?

Deforestation has made climate change worse,The cows use to just get to Lokoja and turn back to north, but now they have to go deeper.

These people are not rearing cattle

What they are actually rearing is banditry, kidnapping and terrorism
Use your head, herders have to go so it would be easy to use air bombing on the bandits

National Assembly should pass it into law to prove that you people are not deceiving us

Finally !!! This nonsense started from herder/farmer clashes . Then bandits started rustling cattle of herders. Imagine 100 cattle in the bush . At 500k per one, that’s 50 million Naira in the deep bush with no one around to prevent a violent takeover. Then these criminals realized humans are more valuable to kidnap . Then booom , kidnapping became a lucrative business .

Let everyone ranch , if you refuse and seen in the bush , capital punishment straight .

The conspiracy theory brain in me is thinking why suddenly now ? Is it to quickly safeguard the herders from what is to come ? By what is to come I mean has Trump told them he is coming and he is coming hard .

This is good development but then a lot needs to be put in place for this rule to work.

My first question is where does the FG want the herders to feed their hundreds and thousands of herds without open grazing?

With this policy farmers would feel legalized to attack fulani and their herds grazing any community in return herders will take revenge.

A big war is looming, I don't think this policy is holistically reviewed.

In a certain region, they believe that they are part of Nigeria, but the law does not apply to them until those they consider their own leaders inform them.

Alleluia, as in hallelujah. Is this for real or November fool? E remain implementation, and what is the punishment for defaulters? FG good policies dey take time to kick in. They need to make this a law, it's not just for one minister to say it in an event.
A capital offense is a crime that is punishable by the death penalty. Am i dreaming? The way government officials seize bad things like rice and provisions and burn them. Maybe, they can do the same here to be fair to all crimes, just suggesting. Those miyetti whatever no go sleep tonight.
Who will belt the cat?
Those that can not arrest Fulani that kill people let alone when they violated open grazing law. The minister have said his own but open grazing will still continue 5 - 10yrs time

This is beautiful, i just hope the appropriate authorities will take it from here. Nice one mr president.
Nice one mr what?
Tinubu hasn’t the balls to even speak up regarding Fulani bandits who go under the cover of herdsmen.

Give kudos to mr Trump. Ribadu and co went to the US to discuss the genocide issue and I’m sure the US delegates dressed them down for not tackling the problem head on.

Why should we be talking about open glazing in this era?
The federal government is simply cowardly reacting to the meeting they had with the US delegates and Trump’s statement.

I don't see anything in this.....
Except those State governors who are complicit to the herders activities.

Every State Governor owes it to their people to make laws for them.

We make laws in this country too elementary and childish, yet implementation, zero.
So who is going to implement this FG order? what's the difference between this and the LG autonomy order spoken about some time ago?

God bless Tinubu. This is what we have be asking for that Buhari could not do for his 8 years of horror in power.

Cow is not all Nigerians source of income only the Fulani deals in them and their means of income and for that reason have no right to be entering people's farm and destroyed it and go free.

Now that is ban those demonic herders will sit up. Enough is Enough.

I said it 2 days ago this is no longer time to say I don't want to step on toes, the president must step on toes infact break toes to have our peace.

Enough is Enough just 5million population(Fulani) out of 250million can not be holding us on ransome.

Neither will this order stand. Are they not the owners of Nigeria? You can't stop them from their 'birthright'
Re: Nigerian Govt Bans Open Grazing To End Farmers-Herders Conflicts by Saint99: 8:30pm On Nov 25, 2025
The question now s can they enforce it? And how do they intend to enforce it?. Is the the Aboki that drives his over 500 cows along Ñnamdi Azikiwe International Airport road in Abuja, that you are speaking the open grazing grammar to. He will tell you WALAHI BAN JI BA.
Re: Nigerian Govt Bans Open Grazing To End Farmers-Herders Conflicts by walegon: 8:30pm On Nov 25, 2025
Are the herders aware of this ban ?

It's not about banning open grazing, the problem is always with enforcement!
