And you said you are a former police man moreover does kanu look like someone that is remorseful or want a political solution ? Since he was incarcerated , did you any pin drop from South East? As for people that are sitting at home in Aba and Nnewi, you all should make it everyday of the week while the people in Awka and Enugu are proudly going about their normal business on Monday.
Jealousy you are pained

https://x.com/iamHSDickson/status/1993418021361402261?t=wSqDa41-KqHkkpKLYIEFWg&s=19[/quote]How can a Senator from the Niger Delta be comparing the agitation of the Niger Delta militants who secured a presidential amnesty program for them and the agitation carried out by Nmandi Kanu which is a clear case of cessation from the Nation.......

Sometimes I laugh at how they do such comparisons.

Treat every issue in it's own unique way if you understand the issues correctly.
That is why the FG and SG can't tackle insecurity in the North because they don't know what to address since those agitation has no clear cut basis.

If DSS was a serious entity, such people who speak in support of separatist entities or persons or leak government operations activity, to warn terrorists should be thoroughly investigated and if found guilty, stripped of their position and jailed.

Not since he was incarcerated, but since your government don't need more evidence to use against him south East have been peaceful.

A wise person will ask why?
Does it means there is no more IPOB in south East,or those that held Kanu for years While looking for what use against him in court now have enough.

Even if they release NK today the crisis in the South East wont stop unless we are saying that he controls all those in the region perpetuating same.

Is anyone stopping anybody agitating? Oduduwa their own, NigerDelta too want their own, Arewa want their own so pls stop talking this nonsense as if agitation is a crime. Kanu and his boys made agitation a crime and they will all ends up in Sokoto or Bauchi unless they put their common sense at work and choose right path to achieve agitation in 21st century or go to jail.

Agitation was never and is never a crime BUT the method and the approach you take pursue it can criminalised you and you go to jail or get executed for it.

Mr Senator if you like cry or do whatever we won't free Kanu if it pains you pls resign as Nigeria senator and wait to become a senator when Biafra happen so choose one or mechionu and bury your unecessary emotional nonsense.

You are very ignorant of Nnamdi Kanu,IPOB movement and the Biafran agitation.

For years, IPOB’s activities in the Southeast were peaceful. People marched, held rallies and demanded fairness in a country where many Igbos felt politically sidelined and constantly treated as second-class citizens. The movement’s message was loud but non-violent. Give us justice, give us equity, give us dignity or give us Biafra was IPOBs message everywhere.

But instead of dialogue, the federal government answered with military force, intimidation, arrests, and killing of many Igbo youths. Young people who came out with flags and placards were treated like criminals. Communities were surrounded by soldiers as though they were war zones. Naturally, this hardened feelings in the region. People who didn't align with IPOBs ideology sided with the movement.

The situation exploded with Operation Python Dance II in 2017. Soldiers invaded Nnamdi Kanu’s home in Abia State while he was on bail in an operation that many see as an assassination attempt by the Nigerian Army. His father died as a result of that operation and more than twenty Igbo youths lost their lives during the raid. There are recorded cases of teenage girls captured by the military and turned into sex slaves after labeling them IPOB.

What followed was predictable. When a peaceful movement is met with state sanctioned killings of innocent people, frustration and anger take over. The government’s actions radicalized many who once believed in non-violence.Many youths now vowed to retaliate by killing many security officers

Invading Kanu’s residence and causing the deaths of innocent youths, the Nigerian military turned a peaceful agitation into a volatile movement. Many youths still remain missing till date. You don't expect not to fight back when you are unjustly killed by a government that should protect you.

........the rest they say is history.

Attached picture are IPOB members during a rally.
No guns, no clubs, no weapons, no violence Just flags, placards and loud voices
Educate them.

So what are we supposed to do about this rantings from this deluded senator?. The good thing is that the Government has changed his Fendi to prison uniform and he has been locked up with his fellow terrorists. Comparing the Sokoto prison lord to Mandela or Adaka Boro is a silly narrative, neither Mandela nor Boro were killing their own people, they did not terrorize the lives of the people they were fighting for. Ojukwu has declared that Biafra is gone, anyother person using Biafra to chop and gather donations like Kanu and Ekpa are nothing but scammers.
Am afraid I agree with you. It's so sad. How these two people were able to get these kinds of crowd is mind baffling. How can anyone believe or even trust these two men? Where are they now? Na wao...

IPOB was peaceful till Fulani invaded South East with army n police backing
They know that IPOB has NO VIOLENCE as MOTTO, and until Fulani led by Buhari started to attack and kill IPOB people beginning from a killing in a church in Aba followed by Operation Python Dance and other killings by Buhari soldiers in the southeast.

Razzness:
Agitations. Thats all it will ever be.

Biafra is a pipe dream, sold to people who can't see past their noses. Any body with half a brain knows this. Biafra can never be achieved through force, the civil war proved this. it can never be by a referendum, they simply don't have the numbers or support of other southerners. It can never be through constitutional amendment, because the Igbo senators and representatives do not have the political pool to achieve this. More importantly, the international community will never support Biafran, because breaking away from a sovereign country with recognized borders is against international law.

And again let's be real, the biafrans don't just want to form a country with only the six Igbo states, they also want to include other southern states such as Bayelsa, Delta, Rivers and other oil producing States. There is no way the Nigerian government will ever give those states up because they are central to the country's economy.

So anybody wey dey do agitations, do am small small because if them sentence you to life in prison, none of the people wey dey ginger you go follow you do time.
That's how people will be yearning dust. Who told you breaking away is against international law? People have a right to self determination if the country they currently live in doesn't serve their interests.
Was Yugoslavia not broken into pieces under its own weight when people wanted to finish themselves? Was Sudan not broken into north and South? There are several examples too numerous to mention. Even Scotland is agitating to go away from the ill-fated union with the British. The British empire had to make serious concessions to placate and quell the succession plans yet the British empire doesn't want any country they have interest in to break up because of their selfish interests.
The good thing about this life is that nothing lasts forever. Not humans , not empires not economies. Just nothing.

Their inability to produce the president since 1966 is the sole reason for this agitation, any other reason na noise

Nonsense. How can you be talking about the release of kanu when uou knew that many are dead today because of his stupidity? Now justice no longer meN anything to the igbos. Justice must be served kanu can go free otherwise the end of this will continue. Every other idiot will rise again. If kanu is released then nigerua must compensate okay family heavily. Okay wS sentenced for the charges. Other iswap leaders jailed must be released and compensated. All criminals must be released and compensated. Because you cannot jail some and call someone case good for consideration. Consider one then consider all. Kanu must dance his dance the same way he gives order. If Ekpa is in jail kanu cannot be freed let the senator and those foolish igbo groups go to Finland and request for Elpa to be released.

Where is the justice for the victims of his hate rhetoric and calling for the killing of uniform men and women ? I have seen some sensible ibos who mostly were affected whether directly or indirectly by the violence instigated by cownu in the east applauding the court decision and have gotten justice for the death of their loved ones…..cownu will spend the rest of his sorry life in prison and that’s justice for the victim of his crimes😏

You have reminded Nigerian state what led to Biafran agitations. IPOB is a peaceful organization, but provoked by Buhari and his northern aristocratic hew.

You can't beat a Baby and don't expect her to cry.

The injustice by Nigerian state is the driving force behind IPOB"s agitations.
