The election is scheduled for 2027. Nigerian politicians claim that winning elections is a game of numbers. Tinubu attempted a Muslim-Muslim ticket in 2023, but it was unsuccessful. Tinubu needs the majority of votes from the northernmost states. However, Tinubu must be willing to face the consequences. He may also aim to dismantle the terror network in Nigeria. He can stabilise the country by first breaking down the corrupt government networks, which are mostly run by his friends and colleagues.

Far easier for nigerians to blame northerners and other cabals, or zionists, or the USA, than to blame their leaders, at all levels.

The Northern elites are already supporting president Tinubu's second term bid.

The election would be another walk in the park

I think Tinubu should focus on stabilizing the country first before thinking about the elections. If he can manage to dismantle the terror networks and improve the economy, he won't have to worry about the northern elites.
