![]() E be like say Tinubu don grow some fvcking balls . To the extent say he wanna go into a boxing ring with Gumi the terrorists cheerleader ![]() BTW,this is what he should have done a very long time ago....And not by pampering Dem the terrorists.....To the extent that bandits now come online to be making videos of threat on the president's life . Something they couldn't do during Buhari's 8 years in office. |

The president's call for herders to surrender illegal weapons is commendable. |

These Herders, are they really willing to embrace ranching. ![]() Hope it will not lead again to asking State Govts to provide ranching lands for them. Cow business should be treated like any other private business. Herders should readjust to this reality. If we no chop cow meat for 1year, we no go die. |

It should be mandated Though we understand they sometimes use the guns for protection but they have abused the privilege |

Nice one. The herders should take the opportunity of the olive branch being offered by the FG |
| Re: Insecurity: Tinubu Demands Herders Surrender Guns, End Open Grazing by emkz: 2:35pm On Nov 27, 2025 |
This is not the solution. We cannot plead with them to surrender guns. The guns must be seized from them, because they must not possess guns in the first place. Traditional herders used machetes to cut forage for their animals. Anyone with a gun should be assumed wants to use it for assault, and the person should be treated like a criminal. Then, we need to geolocate those tormenting our people and carry out coordinated attacks to bring terrorism to an end. All soldiers, police, DSS, NSCDC must be deployed to red zones to solve this problem. Phone calls must be intercepted and sponsors must be put on trial and sentenced. No one must escape. Terrorists should be afraid of FG, not FG seeking to placate them. Finally, it seems to me that herders and Fulanis are being stereotyped as the ones behind the killings. I think proper investigation should be done as it has been revealed that some of the terrorists kidnapping our people are even from the same fold. In other words, criminals may have found that terrorism is a paying business in Nigeria and joined. To be fair to Fulanis and herders, their culture has always been simple living. So it is unlikely that the funds paid as ransom goes to them. In other words, there are some big guns benefitting from terrorism and kidnapping. We need to find them and curtail them. |

Do remember that it took the threats of coming into Nigeria wuth "gunsz ablazing" by the Americans for this inebriated upstart of a president to atleast say the right thing... We are making progress.. The American may need to threat to "bomb the shyt out of Nigeria" just to get Tinubu to stop being a tribalist in his duties as the president.. After all, he needs to be threatened with armargeddon to function properly.. |

Good. He's beginning to wake up. Hope it won't be only talk. The way Southern politicians fear the Fulanis in this country is something that needs to be studied. |

Quest7777:Ranching is difficult in Nigeria. It's easier in places where you have dairy cows that produce milk that you sell for millions. That's in addition to the fact that the economics of those countries can support ranch-raised beef. If you ranch all the meat cows in Nigeria, 1 kg of meat may go for N14k. Once this happens, cheaper meat imported from China or wherever will take over. Unfortunately, people don't understand the challenges - that's why you hear tired lines "Cattle is a private business and the government should not get involved." Without direct government intervention and subsidies, the ranches will fail. |

Sonnobax15:No balls here bro Who admonishes bandits and terrorist to lay down arms? Na church we dey? At this point, anything other than direct confrontation and flushing out of bandits from the bushes is mere polishing the problem with make ups to hide it temporarily Buhari was even tougher then when he said the army should shoot at sight any anyone carrying an AK-47. what happened afterwards? Till today no one was shot and herders are still roaming our bushes with AK-47s Tinubu is a colossal failure |

Islie:The President also called on mosques and churches, especially in vulnerable areas, to coordinate with security agencies to ensure protection during prayers and gatherings. With the bolded if that is what the president said, then it's better they just make it a law for every individual to own a firearm because it's obvious the FG is not responsible.... |
