Ekweremadu's case is a bitter one but we must learn to read the signs and avoid some things.

The case was politically motivated but unfortunately, he fell into the trap.

The UK government are not ready to release him soon.
I have given up on you lots. E say na politically motivated.

If the UK transfers Ekweremadu to Nigeria today, Tinubu will pardon him tomorrow and he will go home the same day.

The Brits understand Nigérian politicians so well. That's why our politicians' request was declined.

UK government was concerned that Nigeria could offer no guarantees that Ekweremadu would continue his prison sentence after being deported.

It has become so bad that our words are taken with the pinch of salt, This request is not done on good faith anyways but to make him escape justice.

This is the persistent problem I have on NL. You have mistakenly concluded I am anti-Tinubu because of my comment.

I am not an asskisser. No human is perfect. All humans are fallible. Supporting what someone does 00% all the time isn't support but idolatry.

I am apolitical. Amongst the 3 leading candidates, Tinubu was my favorite if I were to choose. He is an extremely intelligent individual, and he is very committed to the country's development.

I fully support the ending of the fuel subsidy and the floating of the Naira. He was the only leader able to end the 50 year old fuel subsidy that has wrecked the economy and is the primary reasom for the huge debt that plagues the country today.

Despite Lamido Sanusi supporting Tinubu's economic reforms, he spoke out against the massive borrowing. Does that mean he hates Tinubu?

I am not Igbo. The sending of a team to plead for Ekweremadu leaves a bad taste in one's stomach. The British would simply brand the government as corrupt and lawless. There are hundreds of Nigerians rottening in UK's prisons, why Ekweremadu? They aren't stupid.

I don't even like Peter Obi.

Did I not say he would still win without the Igbo votes in 2027? The problem isn't me.

The crux of the matter is that you're a Tinubu superfan and any form of criticism of him is considered blasphemous.
You are free to entertain your own opinion but the fact that you believe it doesn't make it valid.
The point still remains the fact that SE votes were not part of the votes that made Tinubu our president in 2023 and there is high degree of probability that it won't determine his victory in 2027. It doesn't matter if you are Igbo or anti Tinubu, we are discussing facts and reality

It was because of my post below that you first engaged me.

My reference to Nnamdi Kanu was not even flattering.

Please read the highlighted again.

MY INITIAL POST BELOW

"I won't be surprised if Tinubu knew it was a failed mission from the get go.

Had the mission been successful, he would have a few Igbo votes in the bag.

It would also be a sup to the Igbos after the life sentence pronounced on Nnamdi Kanu, the violence loving secessionist."

He might be worried the sentence may work against him in 2027. He would still win without Igbo votes.

Tinubu is a man who doesn't take chances.
