AirBere:Please stop wasting your time trying to fetch water in a basket, it will never hold. All rating sites rated Rice highest amongst all Midfielders on the pitch in the Match between Arsenal and Bayern on Wednesday. UEFA rightfully awarded Rice as the man of the match. Even when we all saw rice breaking Bayern's attack by intercepting the ball before releasing the ball to Eze who set up Calafiori for Madueke's goal; all of these doesn't matter for someone who has decided to never rate rice. He will still tell you that rice didn't do anything exceptional in the match. Funnily, It was the same Rice who dispossessed Olise before Martinelli retrieved the loose ball and passed to Eze who then set him up for the third goal. Anybody that watched that match and still needs convincing as to whether Rice played well or not should just leave football and focus on any of those Olympic competitions like Shotput or Discus throw |

BlueRayDick:This is an example of what we are talking about. Anyone can watch from 8:25 and see who Olise lost the ball to yet you are giving the credit to Rice https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rEIWF2xivkM |

AirBere:I acknowledge English players that are good and I know those that are overhyped. I have asked how these English so called world class players at their primes in 2008 could not qualify for a tournament of 16 teams from a total of 50 countries when half of Europe are waste countries Yet you continue to tell the same English agenda that they were all good You haven't also told us why Arsenals midfield this season suddenly looks way superior to the Arsenal midfield of the past 2 seasons that featured Declan Rice All these monkey dey work baboon dey collect accolades of English teams don master una for body Kane dey show workings, we see what he does on the field as a striker and finishing top scorer regularly, Rice like you said Cardio merchant, form activity and do gragra for field while the real artists like Eze and Zubi are holding the forte |

Getbetter:You being favorite and probably the best team in Europe doesn't still mean you can't lose to them. You might have more quality and experienced players than Chelsea but that doesn't mean they don't have theirs too. Liverpool that has been losing gave you a good game at anfield, man u also did even with their loss and Chelsea have a nack of being unfazed in lots of big games especially now that they know a good result would put them firmly in the title race, even arteta won't underestimate them the way you're doing |

raumdeuter:Olise lost the ball to Invisible spirit pressing him na. I guess Rice also didn't intercept the ball before passing to to Eze, the ball miraculously found its way to Eze who set up Calafiori for the square play. Na so now. |

BlueRayDick:It actually kills the fun and suspence for a lot of people. I won't like to watch my team having a stalemate in a must win knockout game only to hear goal in the final minutes stating I've conceded, it kills the shock,I might even leave the game to follow the live scores knowing it's faster, I don't go to viewing centres if I'm not at home or streaming it so I don't think I'll like to be getting that |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by raumdeuter: 4:32pm On Nov 28, 2025 |
BlueRayDick:Olise lost the ball to Martinelli Rice never touched the ball from the moment the ball was with Olise till it entered the net. Maybe na the aura of Rice we wan give the credit now Another aura defending
|
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by BlueRayDick: 4:34pm On Nov 28, 2025 |
raumdeuter:Olise lost the ball to Martinelli but the still image u posted clearly showed Rice marking Olise. I asked a question up there, wasn't an invisible spirit that was pressing Olise before he lost the ball or Olise just decided to gift Martinelli the ball ? Does Aura defending involve actually marking down a player and not allowing him free pass at ur defence? |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by raumdeuter: 4:49pm On Nov 28, 2025 |
BlueRayDick:Players lose the ball all the time and Olise lost the ball to Martinelli not to Rice Califiori was pressing and on Olise from the back which made him lose the ball to Martinelli before he got to Rice but somehow Califiori who did the pressing is forgotten, Martinelli who dispossessed Olise is forgotten, na Rice that did neither be the hero That is how aura defending and agenda actually works

| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by BlueRayDick: 5:06pm On Nov 28, 2025 |
raumdeuter:You posted a still image that shoes Olise has already moved past Calafiori and was facing Rice who pressed him till the ball dropped off at Martinelli's feet. Anybody who knows ball definitely knows without Rice in that position Olise was clear to shoot going by Calafiori and Martinelli's position. You are the one who is out on an agenda to discredit Rice at all cost even when All rating sites Rated him as the best midfielder on the pitch and UEFA awarded him man of the match. I'm also expecting u to explain away Rice's role in Arsenal's second goal since he didn't do anything exceptional in the match according to u. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by raumdeuter: 5:11pm On Nov 28, 2025 |
BlueRayDick:In your analysis of the 3rd goal, you didnt mention the role of Califiori nor Martinelli, you went on to tell us how Rice who did absolutely nothing was the person responsible for it BlueRayDick:. Did Rice actually dispossess Olise? or na just agenda? Did Rice even touch the ball before the 3rd goal? The second goal Upamecano made an errant pass to Rice who passed to Eze, Eze to Califiori then to Madueke who scored. You skipped the the scorer(Madueke) the assist(Califiori) and the pre assist (Eze) straight to Rice who received profited from an errant pass, that is how agenda works |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by BlueRayDick: 5:20pm On Nov 28, 2025 |
raumdeuter:Why do I need to state the obvious? Everyone who doesn't have an agenda saw the role of each and every player in the build up to all 3 goals. In fact, RIce won the corner that led to the first goal. You are the one who only sees the Goalscorer and whoever created the final pass. We see the other players who are actively involve in the sequence of play before the ball hits the net. You no know pass those all the experts who rated Rice higher than the other midfielders on the pitch. Even the Zubi u intended to use in shading Rice, he was rated lower than Rice in that match. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by raumdeuter: 5:32pm On Nov 28, 2025 |
BlueRayDick:If its obvious then why did you deliberately misrepresent it by telling us Rice dispossessed Olise, when Rice did not touch the ball at all? Its obvious Rice did not touch or dispossess but you claimed he did WHY? Actually we can see that for the 3rd goal Martinelli Eze Martinelli . For the 2nd goal Eze, Califiori, Madueke 1st goal Saka corner Timber header. Rice was not even inide the box 18 where other players were contesting for the header until the ball entered the net and it was time to jubilate and take the glory The image showed Rice position when the 1st goal was scored

Kilishihunter:Yes... Football does happen sometimes. It's a one game between them on Sunday. No matter how much we do it, our banters and arguments won't stop the outcome of the match. But some Chelsea fans refuse to acknowledge that Arsenal have been better than them so far this season. Also, they harshly belittle some Arsenal individual players' performance even though the world knows these arsenal players are doing wonderful job every week. This actually triggers the other side of some Arsenal fans like us to remind them where they belong and put them in their place. Bro... On Sunday, what will be will be. It's either a team becomes victorious or they share points. However, Gooner fans won't go AWOL whenever Chelsea fans give us hot. |

raumdeuter:You only see what u want to see . Rice won the corner Arsenal scored with . I already know u won’t see beyond the goal scorer and the player who provided the assist . Thank God football experts don’t use ur own agenda-laced metrics to rate players . |

Kilishihunter:I respect your opinion and some poeple don't like it as well, but for me it doesn’t matter at all. A goal is a goal, and we all celebrate it the togetjer. If you’re not inside the stadium, the live broadcast will never sync perfectly. I first noticed this during the 2010 World Cup. I would be watching the live matches on DSTV, and people watching on terrestrial TV would shout “Goal!” several seconds before I saw it. Sometimes it took 6 to 8 seconds before the goal appeared on my DSTV. Even with these digital Tvs sef, their synchronization is still not the same. DSTV is slightly faster than GOTV, even though both signals come from the same source. |

airmark:Dayo's agenda is dead on arrival! Rice would rank top 1-3 on any list today. The same Rice captained Westham to the Europa Conference League title and won player of the season in that competition. |

They are in excellent physical condition. We realize the magnitude of the challenge and the opportunity available to us. We are fully prepared." |

raumdeuter:In bigger competitions he has held his own. It is not his fault that Arsenal have bottled several opportunities for him to win. He has been a sure starter for the 3 Lions since he emerged. He started and played 90 minutes in the 2022 WC, including the knockout stages. He is no scrub for club and country. There is no list of top midfielders in the world that will exclude Rice...None! |
