Hightablevoice2:Go back and read again unless you failed comprehension test in school. FG only began reaching out to Jonathan's aids after the Ivorian government had concluded plans as well as sent a presidential jet to ensure Jonathan's safe exit from the troubled country. What do you mean by FG facilitating? We have the worst government in the world when it comes to looking out for its citizens at home and abroad. |

Dbegining:Government that knows nothing but politics. Politicized everything, from their family to the entire country. The only thing they prioritize is anything that gives them the political leverage. " astute politician this, astute politician that... what they consider their biggest strenght might just their very undoing. If a government doesn't know when to be apolitical and political, its only a matter of time. They will loose credibility and eventually the very power they think they have |

was it not OAU that sent him there to monitor the election for them ? They arranged for his exit at the same time. Nigeria does not need to stress herself on that . People should stop playing politics with issues like this . |

APC government will not lift him, especially since he has been speaking up against bad government of late. They are very vindictive by default. |

You just cannot change. Instead of acknowledging for once how terrible this situation is, this is what you have to say ![]() You and your pathetic ilk would've preferred if something terrible happened to GEJ, then you all would celebrate and give pathetic speeches of how shocked you are but God pass una. It's a damn shame. helinues: |

Lukuluku69:thank god we dey south, we can "calm" .. you said ... But if you acknowledge the position of Nigeria in ecowas or as Giant of africa you will know Guinea Bissau no reach to enforce restriction on Nigeria govt .. if govt really wanted to pick GEJ lets face reality, Tinubu might have wanted to use the ordeal to play " politics" ... GEJ knows callin for Tinubu/FG help is like callin the devil to help ... i think GEJ personally avoided callin F, he looked for help from Responsible human beings .. To the shame of Tinubu govt If i was in GEJ shoes i would have done the same, never ask the Devil for help Bro, dont waste your time making excuses for an Irresponsible govt ... FG didnt make any Move to get Jonathan thats the fact cos we know ourselves |

Brendaniel:That first paragraph is for your family’s eldest person and thanks for telling us😅 Because if not, where is it written in the article that he asked for help but got declined? The whole thing happened so fast and it’s even the FG that confirmed that he had already been rescued by the Ivorian authorities. If they (FG) weren’t following up on the whole thing, how then did they get to know he’d been rescued and informed Nigerians? Una go on data come off sense all in the name of politics. |

reddingtonblack:Why would Tinubu want to do that? So you think GEJ spending more than a day there would be a positive PR for the Tinubu’s presidency?😁😁Would that not be a big embarrassment for both him, his office and Nigeria as a country? Your reasoning is akin to saying that Trump can intentionally leave Obama stranded in a war-torn Afghanistan to spite the former President and Democrat, would the embarrassment be for Obama or Trump and America as a whole? That’s negative PR my friend. Do you even think Tinubu would be happy that Ivory Coast was able to carry out this Operation before Nigeria could get there? It must be embarrassing for both Tinubu and Nigeria because of people like you who don’t always apply their number 6. Sane persons would naturally know that owing to their relative proximity to Guinea, the Ivorians are naturally expected to be there first. Should this even lead to this much argument? Did Jonathan complain about asking for help but got neglected? Did he even spend up to 24 hours there after the coup? The coup happened on Wednesday and he’s already in Nigeria through Ivory Coast on the night of Thursday, so what’s all the fuss all about? Was he abandoned in the first place? |

UrVillageChief:And you are still confirming my assertion, show me in the article the evidence to your claims, look at Nigeria of today, does it look like what normal people are governing? That's because people who reason like you are the ones in power today and they have supporters like you... |

reddingtonblack:Baba be calming down, every Nation can enforce restrictions on other Nations regarding the Airspace and the use of Airports facilities. An Airplane is not a vehicle that you can park somewhere and get clearance before landing or entrying any Airspace. These are basic knowledge. That said, I am not holding Fort for Tinubu government or any other government at that but somethings are just beyond us because we are not privy to many of the interchange before and after certain incidents in the political arena both locally and internationally. Peace ✌️ |

Brendaniel:I answered your question by telling you that the announcement that he had been rescued was first made by that same FG you accused of neglecting him but you aren’t lettered enough to read that part. Now to my own question that you’re conspicuously evading, can you kindly show us where it’s written in the article that the Man did ask for help but was neglected?. Show us where he claimed to have made a plea but wasn’t answered. Make una Dey use una head, blind criticism makes one look unreasoning. |

UrVillageChief:post the date of the news the FG made with evidence and I will post the time he was rescued by Ivory coast, then you ask if he asked for help. you well so? does he need to ask for help before the Nigerian government do the needful ? Did the Nigerian government come out to say he did not ask for help either? |
| Re: Côte D’ivoire’ Not Nigeria Airlifted Jonathan From Guinea-bissau by reddingtonblack: 6:21pm On Nov 28, 2025 |
Lukuluku69:Yeah ! i agree every nation can enforce " restriction" but lets follow " Fact" all the way .... no restriction or news of BAN was out except you have your fact See, i cant fathom why you are cooking up excuses that dont exist, if your position was the case these govt would be 1st to mention it not you .... you 1st tinubu govt use an excuse no be juju be dat I told you what played out, Tinubu was waiting to play Politics, GEJ knows Tinubu well enough, he snubbed FG and seek help elsewhere. Already someone made a post on NL, How is GEJ going to contest against Tinubu that rescued him from guinea .. you can imagine how myopic Tinubu nd his fans are |
