Yeah. January is a big gamble but very important for us. If we don't get at least a quality CB by January we can kiss our season goodbye.

It all hinges on the construction company Limak now. I hear the VIP seats would begin final installation by January. But how many will be completed and validated by La Liga to qualify for the €100mn sale is the head scratcher.

Even if na very cheap, young South American prospect, I no mind at this point. Just get somebody or a couple players. Then summer we can go for the big boys when 1:1 rule finally kicks off.

But I have a feeling we'd at least sign a player this January. Just hoping spicy deals show up.

On that striker front you asked me the other day: seeing how almost virtually impossible the prospects of getting Harry Kane, Alvarez, Haaland, Isak and Osimhen are..... We can go for Guirassy — the Dortmund guy. Cheaper, experienced and deadly. Also has UCL experience.

He might be an impactful addition like how Aubameyang was a plug and play success for us that year. Just sad we let him go early.

Helps saves money for other serious positions that needs reinforcement too.... The problem is we have too many positions needing strengthening. So we have to strike a balance on future quality and stop gap measures all within reasonable financial outlay.

This people never really serious. I don't think even with Pedri on the pitch we would have won. A draw... Possible but very doubtful. I mean we only had one shot on target and probably like just one clear chance that Ferran Torres wasted.

One major problem I saw us had was that our intensity was very poor. While intensity was lacking we did actually played shitty.

I remember saying some weeks back that with this our current form and play, we'll get bodied by teams with top notch intensity.

This is very evident in that Sevilla match where we lost in shambolic fashion. Sevilla applied same pressure Chelsea did.... Leaving no spaces for us to play, always pressing, never giving up the ball and very fast counter attackers. Nerve wrecking intensity from start to finish. Our players couldn't catch a break and then having a weakling like De Jong coordinating the midfield and it's already a recipe for disaster.

Any team that holds such weaponry will easily beat us black and blue.
