land

10yrs ago, I bought a plot of land N800k..today its now N5 million naira
The value of 800k 10yrs ago is almost more than the value of 5m today in terms of purchasing power.

Invest by starting a business and grow it over the years. That's the surest path to financial freedom.

But the value of 3 million naira now is way less than 1 million naira 3 years ago. Hence, there's no ROI on the land. The only good thing is, if the land hadn't been procured that time, the money would have been long spent and forgotten.
It can also be cultivated during the three years. That means you’re not only investing in land but also in agriculture. Just that people in urban areas actually hate going through agricultural stress smiley

In 2014, Many of us ignored investing because we don't know what to invest in.

Now we’re asking again:

What investment do you think we should invest in so we don't regret it 10 years from now?
Don't invest in Bitcoin. That thing is volatile and will crash soon. Buy S&P 500 shares

Buy land in an outskirt of a mega city in hectares and plant any of plantain, cashew, coconut on it.

The crops will be giving you money in millions and also prevent land grabbers from snatching the land from you till your land appreciate years from now.

We bought 4 acres of land 24yesrs ago, at 40k naira per acre. Today the land we bought 200k with agreement and commison worths over 160m naira.

Invest in mutual funds or any paper option that offers between 16 to 24% RoI annually. In 10 years time, you would have made a lot on your capital by compounding it. Let's say you invested 50million naira now in a mutual fund that offers 24% annually then you will make a total of almost 429million in 10years. Even if tax is removed and inflation is doing at it like, you go still know say you get 400m to do as you like cool cool
For investment wey the rate go soon go below single digits?

Why are you sounding like rates will remain at 24% for 10 years?

It is good Nigerian youths are waking up and asking the right questions.

1) Gold must appreciate. 18kt and above only please. Ensure it is original and don't buy the one with design because when you want to sell, they take off the designs and weigh only the gold.

2) You can try any money market fund. Most banks offer them and you can handle it yourself remotely through apps like Bamboo, Afriinvestor 2.0 and Optimum. I heard Cowrywise does it too, but I am not used to its UI, so I abandoned the app. Keep compounding your money (i.e) don't pull out your interest.

3) Land. Sha no buy land for weird places. If you see where get prospects, you go know. If you have a stable income, put 3 rooms on top and commot hand. Don't be pressured to build duplex and you will na be building it for 25yrs, yet the house no go ever complete. With a property of your own, you have knocked out rent in your retirement. I always thank God my parents built houses in their youth. I cannot imagine paying millions on rent in Lagos or anywhere.

4) Stocks. When your bank starts selling, they will definitely let customers know. Focus on market leaders in different sectors.

5) Some people say agriculture. I don't know of this, but I know someone who inherited his late father's palm tree plantation and he is balling. They have a palm oil mill and every byproduct of it is useful. Palm kernel is used for palm kernel oil and the shell is also used for what I don't know.

If you want assets that are constantly growing and rarely drop in value, the answer is simple: Land or Gold.

I call them generational wealth builders grin. Just look at the math: a plot bought for ₦1 million three years ago will surely not sell for less than ₦2 million or ₦3 million now. That’s the kind of appreciation you want.
Gold is just a store of value, it's not a appreciating investment. It appreciates if the currency appreciates.

Do you research. It an appreciating investment when stored for long term when measured against fiat currency. It’s a store of value but it also plays a role of an appreciating investment with time.

Another vote for gold & silver via coins and or bars. Time tested for centuries! Also stock in the vast industries of a certain business mogul that includes a refinery. Reevaluate that investment if NNPCL gets involved.

The total supply of pi and its pantry capitalization are too small for it to make a significant milestone in few years time.the highest pi can give you in the next 10 years is probably $10.

Wait till second migration take place, you will see price drop below $0.1.
Market cap can change very fast..was once approaching 18billion dollars it fell below 2 billion dollars now a little above 2 billion dollars
Total supply is now close to 14 or 15billion
Circulating supply around 4billion
Meaning about 8 to 9 billion locked
The max coin that will be ever mined is 100billion but dat 100billion can't be maxed about in the next 25 to 50years to keep the pioneers/node actively participate in the market
The monthly unlock is less than 200million with the highest unlock of 174million happening before the year run out

A good entry is 0.1 to 0.2

If u can get ur hands on 100k pi using DCA U are good

Circulating supply can't go above 10 to 15billion pi
And pi coin can reach a market cap of 40 to 500billion
See pi reaching a price of 1 dollars short term, 10 dollars medium term and 33dollars in the long term on the premise that the 100billion coins is not reached quickly

You are relatively incorrect. If you buy land now let say for N1m and in 4yrs the price naturally changes with economic situation for instance N2m. But the value may remain the same that is what you can buy with N1m 4yrs ago you now buy with N2m.

Your are correct here but true appreciation come if that area is welcoming fast or rapid development and lands started becoming highly demanded due to some activities like stable electricity or govt infrastructure that is largely benefitting the residents of that area.

Above all, buying a safe land is far better that putting your money in the bank.

100k so called PI is valued at $20,000 at $0.2 per price. How many Nigerians get $20,000 right now? Even if they have it, crypto gambling is the best thing you can recommend for them right? PI wen dey go $0.05 😂 People should ask their God where to invest their money and they wouldn't regret doing so unless they're not flowing with their God. All these guess work? 😂

Of course your PI can jump to $3.14 tomorrow or $0.000314 and remain there for 50 years 😂
