All these you mentioned were conflicts not fought for Christianity nor in the name of Christendom.Crusades was as a result of continuous Islamic jihadists onslaught across different regions,like what we are witnessing today.Most Christians at this juncture,would want a military intervention to wipe out the jihadists and terrorists,since a lot of you Muslims has shown repeatedly that you don't want nor understand what it means by a peaceful co-existence or living side by side with people of other faiths.Also Islamic jihadism that always were bloody,predates all the examples you just mentioned.

It's Nigeria's non Muslim politicians, especially from the southern regions, wlo are leading their people to the slaughter.
Nigeria's government declared Sharia criminal laws unconstitutional right from when Sani Yerima, the then gov of Zamfara state introduced sharia criminal justice system in the now 12 sharia states. Boko Haram quickly emerged shortly after.

Instead of Southern regions politicians pull out their regions from Arewa north sharia states, they play Nigeria politics with the sharia states.
