Some Christians get to church services late because they only start getting dressed to go to church when the praise and worship session must have started. They believe that the sermon is the main service; however, this is not true. Worship is actually the major part of the service, which is why a church service is often called a 'worship service'. Psalm 22:3 says that God inhabits the praises of Israel. Right from the beginning of a church service, God is already moving. Christians who understand this always go to church early because they know that while the praise and worship session is going on, they can hear from God and receive an impartation from Him.

It Is unfortunate that many ministers of God do not take praise and worship sessions seriously. When the choir is singing choruses and praising God, many pastors are still sitting in their offices, writing letters and giving instructions because they feel that the main part of the service has not started. By the time they get on the pulpit, the service is almost over because a major part of the service is the praise and worship session. If you worship God well enough, you will see Him in action.

When believers know that they can do nothing without God (John 15:5), they will not miss praise and worship sessions for anything. In 2 Corinthians 1:6-13, the Bible tells us that Solomon worshipped God by offering a thousand burnt offerings to Him. It was an act of worship, the kind that the people around him had never seen before. That night, God paid him a visit and told him to ask for anything he wanted. Solomon asked for wisdom and knowledge so that he could serve God the way he ought to, and the Bible says that God granted him his request and added other blessings. The Bible also says that before him, there was no one like him, and after him, there will never be anyone like him (2 Chronicles 1:12).

Beloved, make it a duty to never miss any opportunity to worship God by dancing and singing praises to His name, especially during church services. If you sing and dance for Him regularly, He will set you apart for greatness. However, if you feel you are too big to dance before Him or worship and give Him thanks, He will also see you as being too big to be carried to the top.

Some folks go to church for different reasons

That thing they do in church is not wordhip,
It is still praise perhaps in another dimension.

Worship entails your whole existence at all the time you live

Leviticus 6:13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

Some years back at the annual experience gospel concert, I heard God say:

"If you spend more time to worship me, I will give you all your heart's desires,"

God cannot possibly say you should spend more time worshipping him. Rather, the bible says

John 4:21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

Your entire life alone is the worship God want.

Annual experience concert will come and go.
Religious and church activities and buildings will come and go.
but your life remains forever.

God lives forever

What about some members that leave the church after praise and worship

It will be disrespectful for pastors to be signing letters in the service while others are worshipping God. That’s why they do it in the office especially when such letters or meetings can't wait

What is the essence of crying when you know that as soon as you leave the church you are going back to that your evil ways. Does this make any sense at all?

Baba I've had friends like this in the past. There worship is not acceptable to God. Because I have seen the life they live on a daily basis and it is not worthy of emulation, even after all the crying.

One barni that year,I see am for The planet on Saturday, being nasty and all that, smoking Shiksha,we still jam on Sunday worship,and she was slain in the spirit,I knew it was not the holy spirit, she is just performing, I'm not judging her tho,at least she remember go church,Wata Bam Bam

Grace abound, Christians are lucky, freedom to live and worship unlike others that everything is based on rules and regulations

All these new school method of worship! Even Jesus will condemn this!

Transformation, most times, is a process. As you keep hearing the Word, you keep transforming by the renewing of your mind.

Every aspect of service is very important. From opening prayers to closing prayers.

Where in the new testament did you read that God wants you to worship him so he can bless you.

Women and religion, anyway, they created our problems of today in the first place.

People often struggle to engage in praise and worship for two main reasons in my opinion:

1. The worship leader may not be carrying the tangible presence of God, making it difficult for the atmosphere to shift spiritually.

2. The people themselves may not be spiritually aligned. Worship is a deeply spiritual act, and because God is Spirit, those who approach worship in the flesh often find it tiring, uninteresting, or disconnected. When you look for entertainment and not a relationship with God, you will likely approach worship in the flesh.

Believe me, it is most probable that God may not have told him anything.

Meanwhile, God is real. I mean, He is real to real people who play no deceit.

Hahaha... The falsehood is extreme. Sincere people aren't finding it easy seeing God in all of the hoax.

I should have said a lot but TBH, you don't follow God with logic. He doesn't even force anyone to follow Him.

This is where the modern man has issues.

No tonnage of wokeness can erase the unending difficulty of denying the Universe isn't a bulk of matter whirled through, in and around by some superior civilization.

The more you look into the universe of which we are components of, the more you see how human civilization is a mimicry of a higher order beyond our wokeness.

Sometimes I just laugh at how little man knows
How often man wants to appear woke when indeed his whole cycle is responding to a superior mathematical statement of design.

Especially the superstitous African, who can't even restrain his soul and spirit from responding to too many extra-terestral necesities.

Be serious with God
He exist for those who do not pretend they aren't aware He exist.

Forget church activities and pastor. Know God for yourself.

Na why I wan open church and collect my own share. Too many gullible people dey this world.

This is the second & final thing I cherish about Christianity. The first is the Lifestyle of "Jesus"

Good question

I must say the truth, I haven't been very focused on worshipping God regularly.

So many distractions, so many things to pray about, so many things to do, etc.

But God is faithful. I notice that when I do worship Him steadfastly, He blesses me in numerous ways.

Try not to let anything distract you,even if it's only 10mins a day you set out to worship Him it's still okay. I do worship God whenever I have the chance,though am not an ardent church goer
