Nigeria's problem is that we need a leader who will cut the size of the civil service, actually fight corruption, end subsides on everything except education (and even that, only subsidise primary and secondary and vocational and tech education, NOT university), raise our tax to gdp and tax everyone, with the rich paying higher taxes than the poor , and also get the country off oil.

The reason why many supported obi is the same reason why many support tinubu...it is awa turn. Also, like tinubu, he did not transform anambra at all to a state that could stand on its own without oil revenue. Same thing for tinubu..lagos is still a mess up till today.

That;s why I never voted for anyone of them in the 2023 election, yes obi, atiku and tinubu are all not suitable to rule this country. Because we don't need another leader that will build a road project and in twenty years, said road project would be a mess because they did not toll the road to raise enough funds for maintenance because 'we are poor'. Nigeria has a growing populaiton, and we need a leader who will diversify our economy and get us off oil, otherwise, the anarchic state we find ourseives in is going to get worse.

Obi should critically look at the situation and see if becoming atiku's vice is the only available option to defeating the calamity we currently have as president afterall tinibu was the first to collude with the north in removing a southern president so obi won't be doing anything abnormal if he also decides to support atiku to remove tinibu.

....and did Nigeria start in 1999? Which region held the presidential office in second republic? Did you see any Southerner from any of the major parties contest against Buhari& Atiku in 2019?
