Any of these outcomes will be fine. 2027 will be a zero-sum game. For every prior voter lost by a 2023 aspirant, another aspirant has gained a vote. If Obi chooses to contest, Tinubu might likely come third or slug out the second position with Obi.

We know he did it thinking he was appeasing the North but the repercussions are worse than the gains. He would have been smarter to continue to stall his trial until after the elections in 2027. Either ways, he's damned if he does, and damned if he doesn't.

Atiku is better off nominating or supporting the candidate of Obi who will emerge from the North. I think Buhari's victory and Tinubu's running away with it has given him hope that he can still do it. Never say never but if he reads the mood of the country, we are tired of the recycled names.
