The formal request for a pardon is a reversal for the long-time Israeli leader, who has said the indictments would collapse and that he would prove his innocence in court. Netanyahu said it was in his “personal interest” to prove his innocence in the ongoing trial, but “the public interest dictates otherwise.” The letter was submitted on Thursday and publicized on Sunday. This was the corruption trial he wanted to use the Gaza genocide to placate and avoid. He is so corrupt that the prosecution has been beating him in his corruption trial and wants to ambush the court pronouncement of his criminal conviction. At last, he didn’t defeat Hamas, Iran pummeled him, he didn't get the Isreali soldiers held captive out of Gaza without conceding to Hamas terms, I.C.C warrant over war crimes remains and jail for corruption and genocide hangs over his head. He lost all his battles he created by himself for himself. And now this. Smh Netanyahu don’t know the law

This is the least of his problems. He will be facing trials in the Hague for crimes against humanity and war crimes. |

The best and most competent world leader right now. He should be pardoned and given the Nobel peace prize for saying goodbye to Hamas, Hezbollah and the Iran nuclear weapons. |

FreeStuffsNG:If what CNN published is true, then you can see that israel is truly a country that sits at the apex of transparency and accountability. Can this happen in your disgraced country? You are happy that he is facing a system that works, but you support a corrupt, evil, demonic system in your country. |

Elusive001:Smh. You better go and read up on the issue before you sink deeper in ignorance. Even the letter itself is a disgrace and huge embarrassment and currently attracting serious protest. Which country in the world will continue to have a criminal as PM same month Sarkozy was sent to jail in France. The world is looking at them as clowns ruled by criminal who should be turning in his resignation to protect the office and allow the system prosecute him as a citizen instead of an alleged criminal PM. Every day he stands in the dock as criminal defendant for a crime that investigation has concrete evidence that he committed mocks their whole. He wasn't politically victimized, he was actually indicted and should have resigned, not begging for pardon if his 'country' is sane. I am sure that you don’t even know who Sarkozy is. Go and read about what France did to Sarkozy whose corruption while in office is not even as disgraceful as that of Netanyahu. Don't be an olodorabata o.

He deserves every pardon. He needs to focus on the problem of the society. To do what is right, you need to break some rules. That is what is called "corruption" in this case. That is why he refers to "public interest." God bless Bibi. God bless the one whom all with an eevil m i n d fears. |

FreeStuffsNG:Very strange to see a die hard tinibu's supporter condemning PM Netanyahu a man that's obviously far less corrupt than the president he is supporting. |

No wonder he was killing Palestinians like flies. Imagine killing 60,000 humans. The blood of the innocent will surely hunt him. This must have been a secret plan between POTUS & the criminal |

The terrorist criminal is also a fraudulent human being. Part of the reason for the continued genocide in Gaza is also to take eyes away from him fraudulent criminal charges. This man is willing to kill millions just to get people to forget about his fraud criminal charges. What a despicable human being. |

To avoid prosecution, he engaged Palestine in a war, costing lives of Israelis, not to talk of Palestinians. He got intelligence reports ahead of the October 7, 2023 event, yet he allowed it happen, so as to postpone or possibly prevent his conviction. |
