The ADC is yet to officially conduct its Osun state governorship primary election and the party is already divided. With Adeoti pulling out of the Rauf Aregbesola led group, what then is left of the little chances of the party in Osun state? |

Isn't that the former Osun State Governor's group. Basically, ADC. In the lead-up to 2027, the pressure on any significant SW personality that joins ADC will be unbearable. Even their family members will ask them, WHY? I went to Ilesha 3 weeks ago, I was shocked that the Tinubu government has started reconstructing the Ilesha to Ibadan Road with concrete. And I hear the work will also head in the other direction from Ilesha to Benin. That's one incredibly long road, basically Benin to Ibadan. Resurfacing with concrete also started from Shagamu and I am sure that will continue beyond Ijebu Ode. Another major Road project. The entire stretch of the Ore - Akure Road is being reconstructed and expanded as we speak. Expansion and concrete work is proceeding at a fast rate. This is a road that only gets touched once in 30 years or more. Now, it not not only being touched, it is being expanded beyond recognition. The funny thing is these major works are not even publicised by the government, and I hear similar major Road works are going on across all regions. I doubt Nigeria has experienced the scale of Road works going on around the country in at least 40 years. So it would be astounding and sheer wickedness for any SW person to say they want to replace Mr Tinubu that is doing so much with another Northern president so soon after Mr Buhari. So that many of these projects can be abandoned? |

DeLaRue:Yup. Rauf’s right hand man is leaving him. Hopefully, he moved to APC to join forces with the progressives to finish off Rauf completely. If Aregbe thinks he can be a betrayal, others will also show him that they can play the game as well. |

seunmsg:You didn’t read where he said he is taking a short rest from politics, yet here you are gallivanting around claiming he will move to the APC, even though he never said that. Why are you obsessing over Aregbe and his group when the APC isn’t even prepared for the Osun election? Who is the candidate for the APC? Channel this energy into telling Nigerians what Tinubu and the APC-led administration have done to deserve being voted for. |
| Re: Moshood Adeoti Quits Omoluabi Progressive Group by richiemcgold: 4:42pm On Nov 30, 2025 |
Aregbesola is already doing the same thing he always accused Tinubu of doing - - imposition of candidates. That's why I always laugh at those defending politicians. Are they not the same? |

Ofunaofu:What I post with my handle is none of your business. And yes, Adeoti may end up joining APC and it’s all politics. |
| Re: Moshood Adeoti Quits Omoluabi Progressive Group by seunmsg(op): 4:55pm On Nov 30, 2025 |
richiemcgold:When it comes to imposition, he’s worse than Tinubu. In fact, he was behind a lot of the imposition when he was still with Tinubu. He’s always imposing candidates in Tinubu’s name while Tinubu simply look away and take the blame. He was very instrumental to Ambode not getting a second term and he singlehandedly nominated over half of Sanwo-Olu’s first term cabinet. |

seunmsg:seunmsg, spare us the entitlement. Nairaland is a public forum, whatever you post with your handle automatically becomes everyone’s business. If you don’t want people responding, don’t post. Instead of guessing who may or may not join APC, channel this energy into telling Nigerians what Tinubu and the APC-led administration have achieved to deserve another vote. That’s the real issue here, not your political fantasies. |

DeLaRue:All the roads you listed here are audio works You keep claiming to "hear". Are you a village gossip? Calm down with the lies The works of your god should be seen not heard This is the same template buharists ran with. After their god had failed in all serious areas of governance they started pointing to audio roads and rails as evidence of his performance Were you also among the buharists? |

seunmsg:We should vote out Bola Tinubu in 2027 for this level of incompetence He called for the resignation of Jonathan when things were in this same manner as well Since he's not found the courage to practice what he preached, all men of good conscience who truly love the country should help him in 2027 to live by his own creed |
| Re: Moshood Adeoti Quits Omoluabi Progressive Group by AWONEYAN(m): 6:00pm On Nov 30, 2025 |
Aregbesola scammed him..he was pained that Najeem Salam (iwalolye) was single handledly chosen in Lagos by aregbe as ADC gubernatorial candidate for Osun.. He felt used and dump. |
| Re: Moshood Adeoti Quits Omoluabi Progressive Group by Ofunaofu: 6:04pm On Nov 30, 2025 |
seunmsg:nobody is trying to control what you post. But if you put something on a public forum, don’t act shocked when people respond. That’s how discussions work. And if you truly believe this thread ‘isn’t about Tinubu’, then maybe stop dragging your irritation into every comment. I am simply asking for accountability from the party you defend so passionately. When it’s time to campaign, by all means go ahead, just be ready to actually list achievements, not this attitude you display here |

Why do you guys like to celebrate mediocrity in the face of daunting security and economic challenges. Nobody stay permanently where they are ,there are either people coming or going. The bloodshed rampaging the land is more touching than the party politics being idolized. |

Kukutente23:Call for whatever makes you sleep well at night with your full chest. You don’t need anybody’s validation to do that. When he asked for Jonathan’s resignation, he did it with his full chest without your permission and a lot of folks like you disagreed with him. Millions of Nigerians will also disagree with you on your resignation and 2027 folly. It is what it is. |

Ofunaofu:When will you show us pictures of Obis achievements when he was Anambra govt. Let's start from there. Kindly show us pictures og schools built by Obi in his 8 years of been a governor. |
| Re: Moshood Adeoti Quits Omoluabi Progressive Group by Ofunaofu: 6:47pm On Nov 30, 2025 |
Max24:We have long gone past this stage; this was before the 2023 general election. Don’t drag us back. The elections are long over, and once an election is over, governance begins. Tinubu is president, and his policies, masquerading as economic reforms have caused untold hardship and strife for Nigerians. This is what we should be discussing, not a private individual going about his personal business. |
| Re: Moshood Adeoti Quits Omoluabi Progressive Group by Max24: 7:01pm On Nov 30, 2025 |
Ofunaofu:i In short, you want to dodge the question. But Obi is not minding his business ooo. Not with the way he keeps releasing press statements on National issues. Even on Kanu for political advantage. Even on issues that doesn't concern him. So, we can keep talking about him. We know he is contesting in 2027 and we are not deceived. If 20 years after Tinubu left office as Lagos governor I can still tell you 20 things that he did with pictures not to talk of his 2 years presidency. Current pictures ooo. Thank God we didn't vote in a failure. If I lie ask Obis gov, Soludo. |

DeLaRue:Get your facts right. The construction of that SECTION (Ilesha-Ibadan section) of the road was a pledge made by the newly coronated Owa of ijesaland, Oba Haastruup, a former duputy governor of Osun state and the current manager of ENL consortium who are heavily into construction. So that road was a pledge he made to his subjects not FG. FG may have come onboard as a PPP and for supervision but that road is Oba Haastruups project. Kudos also goes to the FG foe showing some level of political seriousness when it comes to road construction. I pray they succeed at it |
