The cameras are also AI-equipped. So, they can do a lot of analysis. With the drones, we now have additional capability to track suspects, vehicles, and human beings anywhere within the state,” he explained. A Trustee of ESSTF and the Anglican Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Rt. Rev. Onyekachi Onyia, justified the heavy investment in security, highlighting the state’s strategic place in the security and stability of the entire South East and the defunct Eastern Region. “We know the consequences of leaving Enugu porous. If terrorists are able to get through Enugu, the South East is finished. It will not end well,” he stated.

This is a quad copter na. Make them get serious and buy quality drone from Turkey. It shows how our leaders think about us. At least this particular governor is even trying to secure his people |

This is highly commendable. This is how a serious government works. Governor Mbah is a smart and digital governor who is in tune with modernity. At least he is doing something within his capacity to tackle kidnapping. A whole federal government relies more on propaganda to fight insecurity instead of doing the actual work |

These things should be kept on the low. Make e be say we see am dey shocked than the unnecessary exhibit. Two drones aren't enough though. Normally, police is supposed to patrol streets in their vehicles but they limit it to the highways. It's commendable, but he can up the ante. That's what he was elected to do. Make people no see am as favor. |

This is a welcome development. Congratulations to Governor Mba in advance. People's lives must be protected, the terrorists can't be richer and powerful than the state. Kill them all so we rest. FG should do same. |
| Re: Governor Mbah Launches Hi-Tech Drones, Equipment, Patrol Vans To Boost Security by ChrisP92(m): 7:06am On Dec 02, 2025 |
This is great. Imagine if every State can get 5 of these drones, with command centers in their states. That would be a major game changer. My advice to enugu govt; Make sure the command centers are heavily guarded. Deploy these drones regularly to survey the forests which are hotspots to gather intelligence. This will instil fear, and they will probably relocate |

All south east governors should do the same to protect our dear region so we don't get caught unaware by terrorists like south west . All the bushes in the south east should be mounted with hidden solar powered cameras 24hrs so as to know who and what goes in and out of the forests . South east is safe. |

1 drone that's not military standard na im them de commission ![]() If you checked in reality, they spent more money on the ceremony than the equipment. But they will inflate the cost to enable them buy a house in Guzape and Katampe extension Abuja. |

Dogalmighty17:I also have the same thought too until I carefully read the capabilities of each drone having a coverage of 100kms is quite very impressive i think two is enough to cover the whole enugu state. |
