Mohammed Abdulrahman, the factional acting Chairperson of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), appointed by a bloc loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has announced decision of his NWC to present Candidate in Osun State for 2026 Governorship election.

The Chairman stated this while briefing the party BOT Chairman Mao Ohuanbuwa and other stakeholders this evening in Abuja.

the governor opted out because of the crisis in PDP. There's no recognised chairman nor secretary to sign his nomination form. This is a technicality during litigation

Oh okay. So basically he is joining another party to be able to be re-elected. PDP is really messing up.

You should know that it is not possible to separate Makinde from the crisis except you do not have knowledge of the beginning of the crisis or you intend to protect Makinde because of reasons best known to you.
