When you do this statistics again in Arabic, north will lead.

Leaders in things in things that don't contribute to national development.

I find it hard to believe that the North-West number is just 25. That figure seems too low.
Islamic extremism has finished that region.

Just a reminder, as at the time south east was fighting war, south west was given free education.
The recovery is quite unbelievable despite all the systematic political marginalisation and oppression.

Everything is about competing with Yorubas to you guys sha!

So it was only South-West that had free education? Most of you just like spreading fake narratives. Were there no Igbos in Lagos and other parts of Nigeria as well?

Biafra civil war lasted just 3 years, not 30 years. Stop exaggerating. Besides, most Southwesterners were just farmers back then, doing their cocoa business jeje.

To fight war simple means that you have a good understanding of your rights, when they are violated and when to say enough-is-enough

This is wrong. The highest number of those who can read and write is actually in the Northern part of Nigeria.

But then, but then you lots don't consider being able to read and write the Arabic Scripts have reading and writing.

Very funny.

It says reading and writing.

When you consider the Arabic Scripts, the North has the larger share of those who can read and write!

That said, how can the East be more than the West when we all know that a larger % of Eastern people are more into trade and usually leave off Education?

What did the great Awo labor for?!
How can they read and write when they spend their lives chasing danfo and okada and keke Marwa and even those poor carrier guys day and night shouting owomida!!!!!!!!!! Go to their cities and you hardly see their boys playing ball cos they are all doing owomida somewhere 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Some years ago,in my yard in Lagos, I heard some other kids singing something like "..education is the key, education is the key, education is the key.........."

God bless them

There are even many more South Easterners who had their education, including free education, in the South West than the other way round.

Why not, that is what it is.
Is it Zamfara, Sokoto, Jigawa etc, where children are left to roam the streets will have time for education?

The North is the problem of Nigerias underdevelopement

Stupi'd statistics! Reading what exactly? Is it English or just general reading because I'm sure kids in the north can read and write Hausa and Arabic to an extent. Nonsense statistics.

Exactly. Statisense is a brainless company with pointless stats. They can't even point you to the journal that accepted their imaginary study yet Nairaland keeps pushing them to us.

The source is there, look well
SpencerForbes:
Statisense keeps bombarding us with statistics without ever providing proper backing or sourcing methods.

For example, they can claim to give us statistics of the quantity of 'water' in Nigeria across all geopolitical zones without bothering to specify whether they are referring to rainwater, borehole water, treated table water, or streams.
