Gunmen attack Governor Otti's advance team in Imo by fergie001(mod): 10:58am On Dec 02, 2025

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:

In the early hours of today, December 2nd, an advance team of three members from the Office of the Executive Governor of Abia State, His Excellency Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, on duty to Sam Mbakwe Airport, Imo State, was attacked by unidentified gunmen. The incident occurred between Umuowa and Ihite junction, shortly before the Sam Mbakwe Airport Junction in Imo State.

The general public is hereby informed that the convoy of Governor Otti was not involved in this attack, and no lives were lost during the unfortunate incident.

Why did this happen after the Governor visited Nnamdi Kanu?

The security agencies can't do it alone.

The dirty hands of the tribe that convicted and sentenced Kanu is in this attack. Just because Otti visited Kanu in Sokoto prison alongside Sokoto state government officials.

If they cannot do anything to address the rampaging insecurity maybe it will be wise of them to conduct their business discreetly. But it is their nature to make noise all over the place to impress and oppress knowing not that the people that care to notice can actually do something about it for once.

Even government can longer save themselves. Exactly how they intend to protect the general public befuddles me.

Unknown gunmen is IPOB/ESN! We know them by their common ipob name. They attacked Otti properbly because he visited KANU. Soludo was once warned like that after visiting KANU before Soludo erased them from Anambra. Ipob/ESN are always jealous and think upside down, they attacked Otti because they feel they own KANU than Otti and shouldn't politicize KANU.
