The Presidency has said that it is now left for the nominated ambassador designates to scale the next huddles before them.

According to Demola Oshodi, the Senior Special Assistant (Protocol) to the President, the nominees still have to be scrutinized by the Department of State Services, DSS, the Senate and the countries where they are designated to represent Nigeria.

Speaking on Arise News ‘The Morning Show’ on Tuesday, Oshodi was asked what he thinks Nigerians are likely to expect during the screening by the Senate and if the lawmakers will easily approve the President’s nominees.

He said, “I can’t speak for the distinguished members of the legislature.

“I want to believe that they will go through the right process of vetting each of these candidates, they will ensure that the right questions are asked and they get their answers.

“This is a process that’s been on forever, this vetting process of members of the executive. So let’s believe that they will do their job and do it properly.

“But there’s also another screening process, which is the DSS. There’s also the ICPC and also the country where they are sent to. These countries have a right to to accept or reject them. They go through their own screening process also.

“So there’s this extensive vetting process for each of these candidates, and if they do pass them, then obviously they are suitable enough to take that position. It’s just the process of getting these people on board.

“We need these people on station to be able to promote our country economically, culturally and security wise. So it’s important we get them on board and get the right people there.”

President Tinubu recently released a list of ambassadorial nominees which he forwarded to the Senate for screening and confirmation.

With previous insults from Reno to HE Bola Tinubu, I guess the jagaban is about to teach someone a lesson.
Even though, recently Reno is on image making trip for the president, he is not going to survive the Senate screening or DSS razzmatazz.
That will be his own making as Jagaban can tell him that he is on the shortlist , failing the screening is of national interest.

Somebody on Facebook book blocked me because she say Reno is intelligent and I bet to differ.

Intelligent is like chess game, somebody at say 1200 rating will easily beat 800 and below but when he meets 1500 and above he will stand no chance.
Reno is more intelligent than most Nigerians who don't understand history, are not studious, and can't read between the lines

If we don't work at night many industries won't function e.g aviation, hospitality etc.
With this kind of setup many people will blindly agree with him, solely because statement 1 and 2 are factual, reasons he keeps bragging fact check me!? But the inferences is diabolically distorted I had caught him many times, he blocked me.
