Oga adult, european national teams pay their players between 10000-20000 euros as match bonuses despite earning or making millions in their respective clubs!
In nigeria, the super eagles have been owed since 2019 and have not been paid!
Stop this endless and mindless prevarication using Teachers and Soldiers as if they are being taken care of by your leaders!
Just because teachers and sol;diers are not being taken care of is not an excuse not to take care of the super eagles!
Every individual working for a critical sector in nigeria deserves care and support just like the players in the national team!
Guy, you are clearly not educated. And na your type go say education na scam. See how weak your reasoning skills are. Comparing Nigeria to Europe. And comparing what soldiers go through to football.

Ogbeni, go argue with your type abeg. Can’t waste my brain cells arguing with person wey dey reason like small pikin.

He is actually right
Soldiers risk their lives we know but there's nowhere in the world where soldiers are being paid as much as top athletes.
Asides movies, music, content creating, I don't see any other legitimate venture that pays as much as sports.

Footballers generate revenue for their countries and clubs, so it is normal for them to be paid well and taken care of.

Oga stop throwing insults like an agbero!
Match my arguments with facts not sentiments!
Super eagles deserve better from the nigerian authorities in other to show more committment to the national team!
You went off tangent by including soldiers and teachers as if we are making comparison with them!

I agree they are a shadow of themselves but other teams too should step up abi na only them...
that's what I used to tell all them arsenal noisemakers, attacking city whenever city underperform, as if city are the only club that are meant to win the epl.

Aside from Liverpool, no club have laid a glove on pep's city, they are just in the epl to complete the mandatory 20 teams.

So if thats the case, then dont demand that the super eagles players give the same effort for their club in their national teams!
Since 2019 till date, the super eagles have been owed match bonuses yet you want them to be committed!
Former European players that have retired are put on pensions and medical and welfare support but in nigeria, rufai was so broke that he relied on handouts for his medical bills before his death!
And yes....they are supposed to sew eso ebi and throw owambe while while covering every expense of the burial because peter rufai more than deserved such for what he had done for the national team before he retired!
Ofcourse Teachers should also deserve such!
Done for the national team or what the national has done for him. If not for the national team will most of the players be in their respective clubs today?
Who would have known Osimhen if not for the under 17 national team.
We have over 1 million footballers looking for this same opportunity this ones have, and are ready to play for free provided they get international exposure.
.
See I have a classmate we finish our sss3 in 2002 in warri Delta State. He was among Samson Siasia squad to Holland 2005 under 20 world cup which Nigeria lost to Argentina. Gift Atulewa, that was his name to me when we last met after the competition, that he didn't merit been among the squad to that competition. Not he doesn't know how to play or he's not good. But bcus 1. Him and Siasia are from same place in Bayelsa. And 2. He has to agree with Siasia to share his match bonus 50/50 and tournament bonus in case they win it. And agreed, bcus according to him the money wasn't really on his mind, but to travel outside the country and get international exposure. Which he eventually got, even though he didn't sign for a big club but some unknown quantity club in Europe.
.
As I am talking to you now, Gift is forever grateful to Siasia and Nigeria for him giving him that opportunity. As at today he has retired and not a poor man. And also a former Nigeria player.
So what am I hitting at here, this players are supposed to be grateful for Nigeria picking them and taking them to international tournament.
They fly some of them best aircrafts, lodge in some of the best hotels. And you will come here and by crying they're treating them bad.

You lied there with that 10,000 and 20,000 euros you wrote there. Do you know England players mostly accept to give their match bonuses which is not up to what you quoted there to charities. Do you also know as at ten years or so ago when Nigeria was paying players $5k per match bonus, it was amng the top 5 highest worldwide. Google is there for you to check.
Nigeria NFF before 2019 were paying $10k dollars as match bonuses even they do sometimes owe the players. But when the players started underperforming, they switch it to firstly, we will pay you when you qualify from group stage of any tournament. And they continue as the tournament progresses.
But do they always perform in those tournaments, your guess is as good as mine.
.
In qualification this same players agreed with the NFF that they will only be paid match bonuses if they qualify for any tournament they're fighting for.
Aside that, do you know as at ten or fifteen years ago. Super Eagles players collects $200 as everyday camp allowance that doesn't fail. As at today they collect $500 daily camp allowance which is not part of their bonuses. They fly in the best aircrafts, lodge them in the best hotels, and they get to travel to different countries. This are things millions of very good footballers in Nigeria are praying to get an opportunity just for once and even for free.
.
But all these present crops thinks they're doing us a favor by playing for Nigeria. I hate it when a retired player said after all I have done for Nigeria. What rubbish did you do for Nigeria by playing or representing us. You almost collect 80 or if not 100% of your match bonuses and camp allowance, bcus of Nigeria you travel to many countries with sophisticated aircrafts and lodge in the best hotels without your ten Kobo in the expenses.
And yet you think you are doing Nigeria a favor. Tah make una go sleep and rest. Both the former players saying and thinking like this and the fans supporting them needs to have their heads rechecked.

When you said I lied, back it with facts not sentiment!
So why single out England that pays less?what about French players that collects within that range?
Italian, Spanish and German players collect within that range!
So what are you yapping about?

Well atleast you reluctantly and indirectly agreed that match bonuses are paid to European players...not just Nigerian players!

Have the players been paid? Yes or no?
Let's assume that they have been underperforming, does that imply that their match bonuses will reduce or be owed!
Despite the performance of Sweden in their qualifiers did the players get less than their match bonuses? Stop justifying the wickedness of NFF!
Italian players got paid their match bonuses despite their humiliating loss to the Norwegians at home!
Match bonuses are not privileges but a right!

And don't even make the excuse that nff is broke because fifa sends NFF more than a million dollars yearly!

When you say super eagles lodge in the best hotels and fly in good aircrafts, you make it look as if it's a privilege and not a right!
Go and see aircrafts and the hotels the English football association lodges their national team players!
Even Ireland lodge their players in the best of hotels...so why should super eagles deserve less?

Yes!
Every retired national player deserves to be taken care of because of what they have done for the national team no matter the sports!
Retired European players get financial, medical and welfare support despite making their millions during their playing days for clubs!
Go and verify!
Here in Nigeria, some of our national team players depend on handouts or political sycophancy for survival!

Man City was not able to beat 10 man Arsenal....man city had to struggle to get a draw die minutes
Chelsea escape 10 man Arsenal with a draw...
Man united were beaten by 10 man Everton..

Match bonuses?
Is that all they are worth?
Maybe thats why they are not so committed!
FYI the current super eagles players have been owed match bonuses for over 2 years!
I guess you didnt know about it until they revolted and NFF officials pleaded that they will be paid!
As for European clubs paying them dollars, thats why they are more committed to their clubs!
If they get injured who treats them?
Let me ask you this....have Tinubu paid the super falcons the 100k dollars and three bedroom apartment?
Yet you want them to die on the pitch when they play a match...smh
So they are committed based on money?

Not supporting them being owed, but if their performance is because of the money, then they should all be sacked
Nigeria needs patriotic players and NFF should also pay them . If the allowances are too much to be paid, then let them use the civil service structure to pay them. If you don’t like it, do not come when invited.

Please name me any advanced country that owes it sports players match bonuses for more than 5 years?
Despite the poor performances from countries like sweden at their WCQs,they still got paid their match bonuses!
Match bonuses are not a privilege but a right demanded and negotiated by all players before they play their matches for their national teams!
Its not just nigeria but other advanced and developed football playing countries!
Other better run football associations will ensure players have been promptly paid their match bonuses on time before any match!
You can stop inviting players that are not performing but you cannot deprive players of match bonuses they had initially negotiated with the Nigerian football authorities!
Patriotism should be matched with action from both sides!

Nobody should ever be owed their entitlement or what they have worked for even if they are still trying to do what is expected of them!
That's not patriotism but slavery!

A soldier in America earns between $2000-3000() with medical insurance and other financial packages for comfort while an average nigerian soldier earns 100k naira!
