Edo Assembly Summons Natasha Osawaru (Tuface’s Wife) Over Alleged Misconduct by Maxymilliano(op): 8:03am On Dec 03, 2025

The Edo State House of Assembly has summoned wife of Tuface Idibia, Hon Natasha Osawaru Irobosa, over a case of misconduct leveled against her.

Hon Natasha, who represents Egor Constituency in the Edo Assembly, was accused of dragging the House into disrepute.

Speaking during Tuesday’s plenary, Speaker of the Assembly, Blessing Agbebaku, said Tuface’s wife has been trending negatively in the media.

He said Natasha must appear before the House standing committee on Ethics and Privileges within a week to defend her self in respect of a case of misconduct.

The Speaker noted that Natasha would also show cause why disciplinary action should not be taken against her.

He asked the Committee to report back to the House on its findings within two weeks.

“This conduct drags the name of the House into the mud and it is the responsibility of the members of the Assembly to conduct themselves well.

“This House has cerebral minds, educated people who had been dragged in the mud for too long by our colleague, Hon. Natasha. She has been trending on social media and television for the wrong reason.

“The House has members who know what they are doing and the attitude of our member has brought this House to disrepute and we will not tolerate it.”

The Speaker noted that the committee would submit its finding to the House in two weeks time.

Irobosa have been trending for the wrong reasons recently after a video where she was having an altercation with her husband, Innocent Idibia surfaced online.

I personally welcome the summons issued by the Edo State House of Assembly to Hon. Natasha Irobosa as a necessary step towards upholding ethical standards, and we strongly call for her immediate resignation. Her alleged misconduct is a profound disgrace not only to the nation of Nigeria and to Edo State, but also to the people of Egor Constituency she was elected to serve. She should therefore step aside to allow competent and focused individuals, of whom there is no shortage, to assume the position and dedicate themselves to the urgent work of representing the people and developing the state.
