As a matter of habit, I used to (still do sometimes) disassemble devices I bought, just to check the interior and rate it. It also helps me understand the device better for when I may need to troubleshoot something .

Today I changed the Rams in my laptop, for upgrade. It's simple but some of the rams are housed beneath the keyboard and removing the keyboard takes some getting used to. There are 4 slots in total.

It does not take long before you break something on these fragile devices. So it's good to get to know them. Of course I consult YouTube videos where and when necessary

Try changing the location of the ODU. Check the signal strength while doing that. I helped a friend out who had same opinion as you, and now it is the best thing in the world lol.

I changed the location as recommended and the speed is how consistently 50mps +.... Blazingly fast

It's like this location of a thing doesn't work as I thought. E dey fluctuate die. Look at mine. Same direction I faced it. 4 different results on different days.

Please is there a way to power that ZLT ODU without plugging it to the IDU directly?
I have tried all possible means but nothing seems to be working, I tried a lot of UPS powerbanks but non could power it unless I plug it to the IDU W/LAN port

PoE adapter like that of Huawei, but 24v instead.

Omo, thank God I came online to see this. I just returned from Airtel office where I went to swap from E-sim to physical Sim. Only to come back and my router wouldn't even Open nairaland. I instantly concluded it's a faulty Sim swap. Was about to drive back to their office before coming here to see I'm not alone

So the network thing is general. Just subbed this afternoon after a long time and I have been unable to connect.

Airtel needs to fix their shitty network e no funny for over 3hrs network head no correct.

I feel it's mainly their unlimited ODU bundles , its having difficulty opening some websites, even gaming ping is poor. I tested it with my regular Airtel sim, put it in my ODU, and I don't have similar issues. Gaming is better and superior. With the ODU sim I was having 70-85ms ping in CODM, while with my regular calling sim, I was having 25-40ms.
I hope they improve the ODU experience. This is beyond the speed because am having maximum speed but the server

In my place, Airtel literally vanished. Just coming back from surviving Airtel. It was torturous.

Abeg those that switched from E-sim to physical Sim How long did it take to start working?

I've been blazing all throught today o, never had any issues.

You said it's the new one... Check underneath for the sim slot. Use the picture he posted as a guide. I will equally be interested in seeing it as well.

Advantage of physical sim is so you can take the Sim to another more portable device when moving instead of subbing two devices. Economics.

Converted to physical Sim yesterday and it doesn't work in my phone or MiFi. Only works in the router and my useless Smartbox router.

Looks like Airtel did some upgrade cus i now constantly get 50mbps+ both Up and Down since yesterday after that outage
