In short, most of the states require FAAC to pay salaries.

Enugu wow! Thats highly commendable. The ibos are the only ones to really change nigeria for better truth be told.

As expected, Lagos and Rivers made the list. Glad to see Enugu there above both states.

Yet the governors will be waiting for FAAC allocation and the masses will not go after their governors or local government electives receiving from the allocation and will be focused on the center as they've been programmed to do

So what’s the difference between sufficient and self-sufficient!?

We need to do better as a country, no wonder debts keep piling up. We are too lazy to be productive. I'm in the North, let every state consume what they produce. The sharing of national monies is making some states very lazy. Every state can actually feed itself cos all states in Nigeria have what it takes, but this spoon feeding of northern states is what is making these governors very lazy to innovative. Stop funding under performing states, let us work and see ways to make money

Remove Apapa and Tincan ports from Lagos state and watch Lagos become Borno.



No wonder Governor Sanwo-Olu's PA was crying and shouting that Nigerian Ports Authority office must not be moved to Warri from Lagos. They know that without one Nigeria they are doomed economically but pride will never let them admit this truth.

It's more about the smartness & dedication of the present governor, Mbah. Aside floating a state Airliner, he has done some more remarkable projects that will naturally boost the state income. Why the president praised him recently.

Only regionalism can make good governance work. Let each region manage their resources and been paying taxes to FG. it will even reduce poverty and insecurity as each region will manage their resources to develop their region.

I dont know what Delta and Bayelsa states are doing at that level

It’s impressive that a state like Enugu is at the top this time. The governor is doing great. This is what all states should emulate, compete.
The streets is filled up with tribalism and hatred while the governments seems to be working.

We all know that U can't run a state on Agberoism & thuggery.

Without the Igbos they are finished

I don't want to believe that statistics for Delta State. Very deceptive set of leaders, you will never get the correct stats from that State. Home of very deceptive politicians. Imagine a State, known as one of the highest earners by allocation.
