NaijaRoyalty:
Enugu state Governor, Mr Peter Mbah has armed the newly established forest guards with modern riffles, patrol vans, drones and motor bikes

This has become necessary to keep Enugu forests safe from criminal Islamic bandits terorists.

Very very nice move. Every state should begin to look out for its people.

Why are we not seeing this in the north where it's needed most? The worst set of governors are found there.
Simple answer.

They don't want it to end

God punish you buhari!
May you continue to rot in your shallow grave.
May you continue burning inside the bottomless pit of hell.

Peace has returned to south east again.

.do not mind the north..they are not serious in tackling banditry, terrorism in the north....just to arrange and organize peace deal meetings with the bandits, terrorists and give them amnesty money, pardon and forgive them

Maybe they are not forest guards.

Security outfits created by states are not permitted by Nigeria law to carry sophisticated weapons.

I stand to be corrected though
But Terrorists are permitted to carry sophisticated weapons
It high time arms is legalized for citizens in that country
So stand and correct yourself

Good from Enugu but pls Mr governor provide them with 31st century bullet proof vest pls.

If possible contact China they just manufactured the latest bullet proof vest skinny and can be wear like an overall dress tight to the body and you can wear your dress on top without anyone seen it, China just made it but hidden it.

Our forest must bee safe especially in the South.

That gun is not sophisticated. That's a bullpup shotgun. 90% plastic

This is good mr governor, but please make sure you screen them well to ensure there is no ipob/ESN members or sympathizers among them, otherwise; they will sabotage the whole things and end up making rubbish of it. Also ensure psychological test is done for each of them because many.igboa need it than any others due to the fact that there are many mixed bloods through baby factory businesses that end up grown up as Igbos and then mix behaving.

Some.of them might even be from alimanjiris north that were.sold.to Biafra land through baby factory. Most of the terrorists these one will fight in the bushes are ipob/ESN that are pretending as fullanis to kidnap reverend sisters and gun down bishops. They should never get to the bushes and begin to feel for KANU and his ipob/ESN killers in the bushes. Good luck to them

Night vision goggles. That's what they will need to effectively make the difference. And that gun is a Keltec BullPup shotgun. It is 90% plastic. It doesn't have the range that an AK-47 does. Keltec guns worldwide are regarded as a flop. The company has really struggled to create a market for them.
Just took the comment from my mouth. I even thought they were spas12 semi automatic shotguns. Anyhow, they're still junior to even the oldest Kalashnikovs. Hopefully, the drones give them the necessary advantage, but not without the night vision as you pointed out

Yes, the terrorists either go back to where they came from, or they will be sent back in body bags (even better for them so they can have their virgins in valhalla).

Dey there they quote Nigeria useless constitutional law while Fulani bandits and their terrorists will continue to kidnap , rape and kill your people like Ile-ya rams everyday

Where was Nigeria law when Fulani herders were killing innocent farmers?

May locate you someday

That's the way to go, not giving them shakabula or old fashioned AK47
that "Old fashioned AK47" is better than what they are carrying. effectiveness is not by how "nice" the weapon look cheesy

Good one from Mba. However an AK 47 woyld have been an ideal firearm than this keltec shotgun. Ak 47 has more rounds and is good for all round multipurpose action, while this keltec is good for close range action.

Hypocrisy and bigotry.

Soludo said crimes reported in the South East are committed by 99.99% Igbos. Islamaphobia is intoxicating, and anyone can drink to a stupor.

Very impressive so the federal govt has approved state's security outfits to carry these types of military rifles? This means that states are now preparing for the official launch of state police.
