Night vision goggles. That's what they will need to effectively make the difference. And that gun is a Keltec BullPup shotgun. It is 90% plastic. It doesn't have the range that an AK-47 does. Keltec guns worldwide are regarded as a flop. The company has really struggled to create a market for them.

Fulani in the bush have AK-47s, this plastic gun is a shotgun. You carry this toy and go to face Fulani better call your people not to include your mouth in the family dinner. You ain't coming back.
Your last sentence, you guys here are so good with literature.

Bullet is bullet, if you can position well and shut to hit your enemy it won't matter if the gun is plastic or rubber

The Ban on Open grazing should equally be fully implemented, so that criminal elements will not have reasons to be wandering around inside forests.
With this forest guards out in the wild, the open grazing will be a things of the past, I believe better time are coming.

Maybe they are not forest guards.

Security outfits created by states are not permitted by Nigeria law to carry sophisticated weapons.

I stand to be corrected though

Haha Islamist spotted. They dont like it when the people can fight back

Enugu state Governor, Mr Peter Mbah has armed the newly established forest guards with modern riffles, patrol vans, drones and motor bikes

This has become necessary to keep Enugu forests safe from criminal Islamic bandits terorists.

Why are we not seeing this in the north where it's needed most? The worst set of governors are found there.
They can't buy drones or security gadgets because they profit from it.

It's like the case of a Bank robbery those days when the manager will calm they lost double of the actual stollen amount.

I even thought those guns has more capabilities there will definitely be an upgrade when state police is officially approved.

Kudos on taking this important step.

For the safety of the guards, I hope their equipment (vehicles, helmets, and uniforms) are fitted with GPS devices to enable real-time location tracking from a central command outpost. This measure is just as critical in the ongoing fight against bandits who have overrun forest areas.

Don't mind the jokers. Nigeria is a condemned country, and we really need strategic, hands-on, no-nonsense leaders to cure madness with madness. It is not by having good intentions. It is by proactively setting guardrails against deviant behaviours by those supposed to implement the 'good intentions'.

These miscreants would soon leave the Fulani terrorists they are supposed to tackle in the bush to be searching vehicles on Ogui Road or Independence Layout, looking for Yahoo Boys, petty burglars, or settling civil disputes.

Same way the useless police operates. They will leave high priority violent crimes to be searching the pockets and phones of regular road users in busy streets.

What is modern about pump bullpop action. The range is low, fewer bullets. Why not ak 47. This governor is a joke. Why can't tinibh grant states right to buy any kind of gun. With this nonsense bandits carrying ak 47 have the advantage

Not in Enugu state .

The Anambra governor, chukwuma Soludo has proven to be a useless governor by romancing the worst president on earth, Bola tinubu. They are birds of the same feather.

But soludo is gradually coming back to his senses .
For somebody who beat his opponents blue black in the election, I don't agree with your point.

Atleast, there are meaningful things you can point to as his achievement unlike in Abia where propaganda is a state machinery.
