That's the way to go, not giving them shakabula or old fashioned AK47
These guns are actually the same as those shakabulas because they are also shakabulas and none of them can stand those old fashioned and rusty AK47. The Nigerian laws don’t allow Governors to arm ppl with combat assault weapons

Enugu state Governor, Mr Peter Mbah has armed the newly established forest guards with modern riffles, patrol vans, drones and motor bikes

This has become necessary to keep Enugu forests safe from criminal Islamic bandits terorists.

Good one.

Any attempt without drones is a wasted effort.

Data does not lie
Show us where Soludo has failed.
The development you are witnessing in the south east is as a result of increase in allocation and an fg that is accessible.

Can you see how every state want to join the apc?
No state wants to join APC. It was reported somewhere on this platform that some governors were offered hundreds of billions of naira to join APC. While some of the Governor's with criminal case were forced to join APC or they will be hunted for corruption.

Tinubu will lose las las

The irony is that you are bragging that you will be traveling to SE , the question is , where are you traveling from?

You mean you don’t live in SE?
What is important about where he's travelling from? What's that about? People travel from various places they do business, work ,they travel home mostly during the yuletide season,so what's the question about?!
People travel even from the abroad, from US,UK, Canada, etc, to the north, east, west and south for Christmas and New year,so kindly tell us what you are talking about?

Or are you telling us that you are just confined to your village?
My friend be happy in life and be happy for others...all these roforofo from Jan to Dec,how many years now,to what benefit?!

I can’t see those well, but AKs are probably better.

From images I’ve seen, those bandits are packing belt-fed machine guns…

I understand the psychological satisfaction of you always trying to compare yourselves with your superiors. It's a good thing, as it helps you in trying to measure up. For instance, if America sets up a developmental project they would never start comparing with what's happening in Nigeria. It's usually the other way round. Got the gist?

Night vision goggles. That's what they will need to effectively make the difference. And that gun is a Keltec BullPup shotgun. It is 90% plastic. It doesn't have the range that an AK-47 does. Keltec guns worldwide are regarded as a flop. The company has really struggled to create a market for them.

Fulani in the bush have AK-47s, this plastic gun is a shotgun. You carry this toy and go to face Fulani better call your people not to include your mouth in the family dinner. You ain't coming back.
your likes seem to know and talk too much but cower in the face of real adversity.

You should try as much as possible to equip yourself with a catapult once these bandits come knocking on your door in the night.

Already, SE is the unsafest region since 1960.

But now that weapons are being given to our blothers by their government, I cannot imagine what the situation will be in few months time.

This is a dangerous trend. I'm sure the governor will regret this move.

Re: Enugu Government Arms Forest Guards With Modern Riffles (Photos) by Teymanhenry(f): 11:42am On Dec 04, 2025
Well done, Mr. Governor. At least one Nigerian governor finally understands that the job of a forest guard is just as important, strenuous, and serious as that of a soldier. These men, if properly trained and equipped, can become a major force in tackling insecurity , from kidnapping to armed robbery, cultism, banditry, and everything in between.

I genuinely hope other governors will take a page from the Enugu Governor’s playbook. This is the kind of proactive leadership Nigeria needs right now.

Alex Otti and Peter Mbah are working really hard to outdo the other in development and which is good for south east. But you see soludo, he talks too much for a governor . His constant mouth runnings has outshined his achievements as governor of Anambra state .

Have you ever seen governor Peter Mbah and Alex Otti running there mouth in the media like Soludo is known for?

Soludo is trying but he talks too much for an Igbo man.
Brother you don't know Alex Otti.

Beyond the propaganda, AO is no where close to any governor in the south east.
I'm talking about visible and verifiable achievement.
They do one small thing and they blow it up with PR and propaganda and people would think Abia used to be Sahara desert.

If you compare his record with any other person without bias, you'll be disappointed.

Peter Mba is the most hard working governor on the south east.

If I'm the governor I'll secretly engage mercenaries to comb the bushes and flush of those marauding bandits terrorists.
