I don't know why I like that man so much, probably because I see him as a sincere person. I've been praising his appointment since he was announced the Minister of Defence. Congratulations to him!

Ok o. We sha need doings as quickly as possible.

I wonder what information the military would need about a place that they cannot get but has to rely on civilian?

Where can VDM do with his camera that the military cannot?
Re: My Encounter With Christopher Musa - Verydarkman by Greattha: 11:43am On Dec 04, 2025
This VDM is really trying.

Let's hope Musa makes a difference....these wanton killings, kidnapping and general insecurity must stop.

"On the 19th, around 10 a.m., they told me that the Army was looking for me. I said, ‘Army ke?’ He said yes. I panicked. Which wahala do I have with the Nigerian Army? I couldn’t remember anything. Then I said, ‘I don blast Christopher Musa before o.’

Anyway, I just said, ‘No wahala, let’s go.’ Because two things came to my mind: if they wanted to kpai me, they would have done it already. They already knew where I was and they know how to track me. So I followed them.

I didn’t know exactly who was looking for me. They just said the Army wanted to see me. Next thing, we entered a car, and they drove me to Asokoro. When we got there, we entered the military base. As soon as we got in, we drove straight in.

When they opened the door, guess who I saw? Christopher Musa. The same person I had blasted online. I looked at him well. This was on the 19th, around 11:30 a.m.—no, around 10:30 a.m.

When we entered, he told everyone to step outside and leave the two of us alone. Then we sat down. He looked at me and said, ‘VeryDarkMan.’ I said, ‘Yes, sir.’

He asked, ‘Do you know why I brought you here?’ I said, ‘No, sir.’ Then he said, ‘I need your help.’

I was shocked. I asked, ‘Sir, help with what?’

He said, ‘You need to tell me everything you noticed when you went to Yelwata. You were the first person with a camera who went there. People were scared to go. So tell me everything you observed when you got to Yelwata, what you think, and any information you gathered.’

After I told him everything, he said, ‘Okay, thank you very much. We’ll take it from here. Please, if you have any more information, let me know.’

Then we took this picture that day. As you can see, it was on the 20th of June 2025.

The reason I’m talking now is because when I heard he had been removed as Chief of Defence Staff, I just shook my head. You know why? Because that man was genuinely looking for solutions.

For that man to call VeryDarkMan to his house, look me straight in the eyes—this is the Chief of Defence Staff, bro—and tell me, ‘I need your help’… that’s someone who isn’t ashamed to seek information from anywhere. No pride whatsoever." — Activist VeryDarkMan shares the story of his private encounter with former Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, following reports of Musa’s nomination as the new Minister of Defence by President Bola Tinubu.

This one that everybody is praising him like he is super man, hope he performs
If I may ask, what qualifications or expertise does Badaru and Metawalle have to manage our security architecture? It's even proven that these men are bandit loyalists.

Christopher has no bearing with bandits or terrorists. As a matter of fact, his people of Southern Kaduna extraction have been under heavy persecution by bandits and Islamic terrorists. It will be a great motivation for him to stamp out this scourge of religious jihadists in Nigeria.

Was this Christopher Musa’s hands tied when he was CDS?

If he didn’t perform then, what makes you think he’ll do magic now?

I pray he is given a free hand to work. I am glad he's from the north so they won't say a southerner has come to kill northerners. May God give him strength and power to discharge his duty without fear or favour. VeryDarkman is courageous I must confess, may God protect him too.

Lagbaja didn't fail. I live in Jos Plateau State, he came to Jos and visited those fulanis in their village. A riot act was read to them, that was how peace came till his death. Their is action in his playful speeches, culprits were kpaied immediately, arrested ones were shown on TV on same day. I last saw him that day because he's convoy bought fuel in my friends petrol station.

As Christians, we all need to emulate the humility of our Great God and Saviour Jesus Christ...

Christ is the epitome of humility and simplicity.
Muslims are truly tolerant people.

During the time Christopher Gwabin Musa (a Christian) served as Chief of Defence Staff, the Nigerian military mistakenly bombed innocent Muslim civilians on three different occasions:

1. On 3 Dec 2023 – Tudun Biri, Kaduna: About 126 Muslims celebrating Maulud were k!lled.

2. On 25 Dec 2023 – Sokoto: About 10 Muslims were k!lled while sleeping.

3. On 13 Jan 2025 – Zurmi, Zamfara: Another strike k!lled 16 Muslim civilians.

If these same incidents had happened to Christians and the officer in charge was a Muslim the story would have been framed very differently. Many would have rushed to call it “religious persecution.”

But look at the reaction of Muslims: They mourned his removal, and today we are even celebrating his re-appointment as Minister of Defence.

This says a lot about who truly chooses peace, patience, and unity.

Congratulations on your appointment as the Minister of Defence, sir.

He is a Southern Kaduna Christian, his people are the most affected by these bandits, so he is ready to do anything to save his people and other Middle Belt people. . Tinubu is a Master strategist

Interesting.

Let's see what he can do between now and March 2026 undecided
.
For the minister of defense to be successful in tackling banditry and terrorists.. the minister and the Nigeria military has to be proactive not reactive..they have to take the fight, attack, bombing to the bandit and terrorists hideout and enclave inorder to wipe out those terrorists...they should not be waiting for bandits and terrorists to attack, kidnap and kill innocent people before they act

If this story is true, he is not only very different from a typical Nigerian Senior officer, he is very different from the typical Nigerian Leader fullstop.

Just like was said above, I really do hope this appointment makes a serious difference and people learn it pays to be diligent at your post instead of the endless stealing they all do when they think they have arrived and God has nothing left for them (so they steal everything now and forever hold their peace! )
The thing is there are so many credible men of integrity in the Nigerian army,I have met many ,even the police, but the very bad ones hinders the growth of the very few ones.

I watched his interrogation with the Akpabio and Co at the senate chambers yesterday, he was so fluently in speaking. He knows a lot about Nigeria security and ready to work. Nigerian invested on him and high time for him to give back to Nigerian. The problem is the people at the top and untouchable Nigerian will not allow him to do his job . I pray for his life and Almighty God to protect him very well IJN.

I hope General Musa now knows that aside been a great military man he must learn to be a bit political when delivering speeches. he dont need to say all as it is, some you keep inside. Wish him success.
