If my mom can carry me for nine months, care for me, wash my poos, carry me all day on her back and still stay awake at night because of my cries, if she could have done all that for me tell me why I wouldn't take care of her too wen she becomes old?

That's exactly the point
Not only Japan,
South Korea and most European countries also have that same problem.
They have a declining population with ridiculously low birthrates (1.26kids) and aging population.
When people suppose normally die by 70+, they keep living till 100 putting a serious financial and emotional strain on their kids.
White people and Mongoloids aren't that disposed to caring for their aged parents personally so they create old people's homes so they can tuck away their aged for others to deal with..
Unfortunately, the Blacks that can do the job are restricted from immigrating there..they rater allow Muslims and Arabs fill up their space just to be seen as politically correct.

Na so una dey like talk....all talk and little to no action. Go village now you go see so many abandoned parents for there with no one taking care of them. Their sons only send money to people who they in turn expect to magically care for them in the way described.

Hope Nigerians are learning? Most of you with all the poor health facilities and bad governance still live your life like you have spare parts somewhere 😂 The worst that can happen to anyone is to be bedridden & wearing pampers as an adult. If you think your wife or your husband or your so called children will cater for you at old age, better start thinking properly now. This same people will flee & leave you to rot away in isolation or to be at the mercy of those heartless caregiver or Genzee nurses. Can those so called professional caregivers takes care of you the way a blood relation would? I've seen this happen countless

Well, it depends on the bond between them. I share a very strong bond wit my mum. Mum has gone tru hell for me. Omo, even witch cannot break the bond we share.
