Yankee101:
Under Islamic law do you know inheritance should be distributed within days or weeks? You think I’m a novice to Islamic law? Of course it’s wickedness that’s scattering the camp of the enemy

See below the stipulations of Islamic law

Property should be divided under Islamic law as soon as possible after death, after the deceased's debts, funeral expenses, and any permitted bequests (up to one-third of the estate) have been settled. Delaying the distribution is considered un-Islamic and sinful because the wealth belongs to the heirs immediately after the person's death.
@ bold: indeed i can sense that!
After this, how many similar incidents could you count/think of again?

Muslims are also human and must just make mistakes no matter what. Before you see one of such delays in Muslim house, other thousands inheritances must have been shared. Chill bro.

After, all you can choose to believe what deemed fit to you!

And who are those elite families compare to the entire Muslim community?
Can't you see that the factor is another thing else but not what you are thinking of?

Do you know the Kano Emirate is intertwined with the ilorin emirate?

Do you know Emir Ado Bayero’s mother is Yoruba from Sulu Gambari royal family?

You think it’s a coincidence inheritance issues are happening in 2 emirates in very far away locations?

There’s much more but when the time is right we go open everybody back

There's already a prescribed islamic principle of sharing properties.

Why isn't this this followed?
The rich subscribe to Shariah law only when it is convenient.

Interesting read up there, never knew that they all had Yoruba in their names and I was thinking it's all Fulani straight away.
People who can't speak one word of Fulani.

They are Islamised Yorubas. Simple. And yes, their ancestors were Fulanis.

Really a new revelations to me!
Royals family problems/issues shall be called as it is. Islam got nothing to do with their family matters. After all, almost every royal family got such issues. Period!

Emirates is just a government and not an Islamic titles or whatsoever.

Wow. What a shame for someone, a retired Judge of the Federal court of Appeal for that matter, sitting on a revered and dignified throne of his ancestors to be so labelled. Disgustingly irresponsible, detastable and incomprehensible greed to say the least. But then, the bottom line is there is more than meets the ordinary eyes. Something is not right somewhere. There may be more to it than greed.

My dad used to tell me how the late emir used to welcome all in his domain including Christians and how the Igbo community used to donate cows to the late emir and he was so good to everyone especially the igbos. But you see , this current one, this Alhaji sulu Gambari, he is a very wicked man. He is an extreme islamist too. I myself am a witness to this current one as I don't know the former one

As a man, father, parent or gurdian, put your house in order long before you die. You can't have 48 children from different mothers and not expect some commotion when you are gone.

The Balogun Gambari family are made up of people descended from Hausa, Nupe, Bariba and etc. It is the Balogun Fulani that is made up of people descended from Fulani. However the descendants are Yoruba now. There are compounds in Northern cities of Kano, Funtua and etc where the founders are Yoruba but the descendants are now Hausa

Greedy is written all this case. The King is greed and wicked. He succeeded his late father, rather than embracing the other 47 children of the late Emir, he evicted them, leaving only his mother. Oba isonu.
We'll...you might be right o, but I think there's something we don't know. He became the king in 1995 and evicted the siblings in 2010; 15 good years after... We surely do not know all the details and it might not be that he is wicked.

See what fulanis have reduced a yorubaland to, milking our people here and there?Gov Lawal wanted to change the narrative back then by installing an Oba in Ilorin but they charmed him to death. One side of his face suddenly turned green.

Ilorin people are among the poorest people on earth. I remember the bęskę onigun merin in those days when schooling in Ilorin. That's what they'd put inside their black soup as meat. I also remember monsara(monsa)
my daddy, by black soup, do you mean Obe isapa ?

Obe isapa is even better. The soup no dey get epo or ororo for inside. I really pitied them. They looked so innocent and cheerful even when eating it. Na we students dey help the ilorin economy back then with our house rents and things we used to buy from the locals. Their complexion is like charcoal. Those are the people the government should have focused their social empowerment programme on, alas! Na to embezzle everything .

How are you jare, my daughter? smiley

The saraki dynasty that used to cater for the elderly has been revolted against, during that otogęę protest that sponsored by Tinubu in kwara in order to end the saraki dynasty in kwara so the apc could gain momentum. There was a place called ile arugbo( like the old people's home) where the elderly used to converge for their free meals and pocket money in those days. Such an arrangement is no more. I've got a million reasons to hate the apc.

Can the Saraki family take care of even 500 seniors? I guess that is why their bank the Societe Generale failed

↓yes, I remembered the sarakis coz I went to Anglican grammar sch and their family house is close by. Chai! I really pray that God will save and deliver us from APC. We never had it this bad.

I still remember even as a child, when those women do troop to go and collect food stuffs , I will tease them and ask them to buy me sweet when coming back, they in turn will tease me back and say, see how fresh and beautiful you look and they will go ahead and say ' wo, Tope, ( the yoruba name they gave me ) omi ilorin la fi we o, o ni pada si ile Igbo mo, ilorin ni o fe o. Kai ! I love ilorin , just that the people are truly poor. It's well daddy
