Good news. Low budget Road safety

These guys have turned into something else especially the ones in aba.

The day they took me to their office because of expired documents(just 24hours after expiry) which I didn’t know. Took me to their office and refused to show me their offense list.

Anyways after everything na one of their copper staff turn up for my hotel room later that day to explain why I had to pay 20k just for nothing.

The VIO boys that stopped the lawyer that day will be regretting their actions . They have cut off bribes for all their ogas and colleagues . In fact their colleagues will be swearing for them. If they go to Supreme Court, that will be at least a 5 year journey . They should just pay the damages and move on .

They must obey weda they like it or not...well,none has ever seen me drive n try to stop me on the way

Indeed, the judiciary is really the bastion of democracy. It can overturn any action of the executive or the legislature that is in total violation of fundamental rights of citizens.

Those VIO officers will cry blood. They started forcing their way gradually back to the Abuja roads with the hope to quickly make some money off motorists for Christmas. Those guys should permanently stay off the road

It's not for them to obey nah.
Na we the road users go enforce the law on them and make them obey.
How many of una even know say VIO no get the right to demand for your driver's licenses?

There can still issue citation. which the court can now decide if you can pay fine. if you fail to pay the fine the court can empower them to cease your vehicle.
Given Nigerians attitude toward judicial compliance, they will still have the job of enforcing court judgement on the road. This judgement just confirm that they can not be the prosecutor, judge and jury on the road.

People will start beating you guys up on the road, instead of them to ensure that every vehicle renewal must visit their office before it's done they prefer to go stand on the road

No wonder those idiots have been so nice lately. Heaven will receive a visitor anytime I see anything in white and black standing in my front.

VIO, another one of Nigeria's problems. They will leave rickety vehicles, vehicles emitting smoke and polluting the environment and run after good looking, healthy cars to harass the occupants.

no sir. For the fact that a judgement emanates from the appeal court doesn't give it a national coloration. It is the parties and the prayers that determines its applicability
